-Lunchtime-

LUNCHTIME was nearing and the smell of my Bento was making it hard to not sprint out the classroom and gobble down my food but again I'd look crazy so I'll just wait. My poor stomach.

A nudge to my side made me turn my irritated glare to Armin who pointed to the door giving him a weirded look I looked over to the door to see my Aunt waving like crazy trying to gain my attention.

Sliding down in my chair to hide myself i shooed her away with my hand but she was persistent. Looking over to my teacher who had her back turned to us I grabbed Armin's paper airplane and scribbled down talk to me at lunch . Sending Amrin an apologetic smile i then threw the airplane to her which unfortunately hit her right in the head.

Wincing at her pained expression she just sent me a glare before running off to her office. Armin laughed at us but tried his best to silence it because we were still in the middle of a test
"you and miss Zoë know each other?"

I nodded in confirmation "Yes she's my auntie" something seemed to click in Armin's head as he looked at me with his wide eyes "So that's how you're not afraid of Mr Ackerman!" He clapped his hands together his prideful smile making me chuckle at how he thought he found out my biggest secret.

The bell suddenly rang awaking the students as they all shot up and began stuffing their book's and pencils back into their bags as the teacher, Miss Rall was desperately trying to get them to calm down. "Students please finish off page 44 in your textbooks-!" She was cut off by the hoard of people pushing themselves to get out of the classroom.

Me and Amrin took our time- well more like Amrin i was being held back by him saying it was rude to leave when the teacher was talking but I really couldn't care less I needed my FOOD.

"Goodbye Miss Rall!" Armin said with a polite smile which the teacher sent one back , thankful one of her students were raised properly to learn respect. I just sent her a quick wave before i was out sprinting through the hallway to the lunch hall.

-at the lunch hall-

"Wow Yasmin did your mother make that for you?!" Sasha a girl i met just a few minutes ago asked drool dripping out from the side of her mouth "Uh yes she did" I watched in shock as she jumped over the table and tried grabbing one of my egg rolls but Mikasa's quick movements in catching her stopped her.

"Noo i was sooo close!!!" Sasha cried in defeat literal tears falling from her brown eyes, i suddenly felt bad for her so i carefully handed her one in a napkin "Here Sasha. Just ask next time I'll be happy to give you some" smiling a closed eye smile at her as i spoke my sentence.

Sasha's crying was suddenly replaced with loud chewing "Thank you Yasmin!!" After gobbling down my egg roll she jumped into my arms and hugged the life out of me. Patting her back frantically trying to tell her to let go but it was no use, wow this girl was strong-

"Sasha you're going to kill her!" Armin's worried voice echoed through the almost empty lunch hall the rest of the group just laughed at Sasha, i felt the pressure of Sasha disappear making me gasp in relief as i could finally breath. My poor lungs.

I felt a hand pat my back soothingly making me look up to see Eren with nothing but concern written over his sharp features. This kinda made me uncomfortable as i felt Mikasa's strong and deadly glare on me "Are you okay Yasmin!?"

Nodding hesitantly i slowly stood up "I'm gonna go now" smiling at them all i quickly scooped my bento and bag from the table then proceeded to run out of the lunch hall desperately trying to free myself from Mikasa's wrath.

Reaching the outside of the school i huffed tiredly my lungs seriously needing a break. Spotting a bench I walked over to it so i could finally eat in peace! With a loud sigh I grabbed my bento out and fiddled with one of the octopus shaped Sausage's...my appetite now gone.

Looking at how Armin's friend group all laughed and cared with each other just made me feel so out of place. I miss my friends and my hometown , i miss how they would always buy me ice cream when on my period or the way Dezu would tie my hair for Sports...I miss how Dazai would always give me a piggy back ride's on our walks home because he knew i was tired. Gosh i miss them so MUCH .

I really hate it here in this big city! I can't just casually walk around in my Sleeping wear because I literally don't have a clue who anyone is i just wish i could pack my bag's and take that 5 hour travel back to Shiganshina but no I can't because I'm stuck here with these PEOPLE! Who are always trying to hug the life out of me.

"My, my what do we have here?"

Looking up i saw Hange with a big smile on her face her glasses gleaming in the sun "Hi Miss Zoë" my tone was sad but I couldn't help it no matter how much of an act i put up my aunt will always see right through it.

I could feel her sit beside me as i smelt her strong scent of well chemicals from her previous experiments "My dear tell me what's wrong"
she spoke softly making me feel comfortable to tell her anything.

"I miss home...Aunt Hange i want to go home"
I said in a broken whisper my voice breaking from the sob that escaped my throat "i want to go home" I cried into her arms while she did nothing but caress my hair kissing my forehead softly from time to time.

"You're not missing Shiganshina but you're missing the people in it. The people are your home not Shiganshina so it's time to turn these people into you're new home My dear. Let them into your heart and soon you'll be able to see that home isn't a place but the people"

Her words hit deep and the meaning behind them was like a new light being shined right into my life...maybe she was right Shiganshina was a place i grew up in and have made many memories to cherish in my heart and mind forever but the people was what I truly miss...my home was them.
