"TIME to go Yasmin baby" my mum said while patting my shoulder which was slumped over in sadness at having to leave Tokyo to go all the way to Marley to see my GRANDPARENTS which may i add I highly distaste.

"Do we really have to go? Ma they treat us horribly!" I begged my mother once more to which she sent me a sad look of her own knowing my words were nothing but the truth. Sighing sadly she hugged me tightly allowing me to swallow in her warmth something that calmed my anxiety filled heart.

"Im so sorry baby...just once more for the sake of your father then we'll cut them off" she said stroking the back of my head with her gentle fingers. My mother was a strong and very independent woman but when she met my dad she showed him her weak and pained side which she hides very well from the public.

my dad looked after my mother as if she was porcelain doll, he was so busy with caring for her and putting her needs before his own he failed to notice the fact he was about to leave my mother as a widow and a fatherless child .

As the car sped on the slippery roads he failed to hit his breaks in time because in those few seconds of realisation my father was already at death's door. Praying to the god's above that he could hold his child and wife in his arm's once more but to the Smith's families dismay God hopelessly let death consume him.

Not until his very last breath did he stop caring for my mother as he laid there on the cold wet ground blood pooling from the back of his head but his gentle whisper's of reassurance through the phone towards my mother who was screaming for him to be okay but he only smiled once more before saying the last goodbye to his precious wife "Goodbye my love"

That day left my mum broken her heart permanently cracked beyond repair her only source of hope was me, it took years for me to slowly glue her heart back to one but those 6 year's of recovery was not easy days turned into months then months shortly turned into years as my mum weeped for the loss of her husband.

One of the many other reasons we moved here was because Shiganshina reminded her too much of my dad and the road she had to drive on to pick me up from school was the same one my dad was taken up into God's safe haven. I knew this because he had a pure soul only wanting to help humanity for the good.

Kissing my forehead her lips lingered there for a moment longer before she pulled away her lips pulled up into a small smile which I could see right through...she was hurting deep inside.

"My sweet girl..." she whispered softly tucking a stray blonde hair behind my ear her hand staying on my cheek leaning my head further into her palm i watched with saddened eyes as she teared up while examining my facial features.

"You look exactly like you're dad..minus his blue eyes and those ginormous eyebrows!" She cracked a joke making both of us release a small laugh that only momentarily paused our sadness.
