Smoke

-SMOKE-

SMOKE filled my senses as I walked through the front door. Coughing harshly into my hand when I accidentally inhaled the horrid cancer causing stick which was being blown by my mother.

Stomping over to her I placed my hands on my hips an angered look on my face. "Ma! I thought you quit!" Nudging my head towards her cigarette which she inhaled unbothered just creating an irk mark to form on my forehead.

"Darlin it's been a hard and long day for your mama just one hm?" She said her voice sounding dreary and tired, biting my lip in thought I clicked my tongue in annoyance before nodding hesitantly agreeing to her words "fine just one!"

Throwing my bag off and onto the floor i began my journey to the kitchen my grumbling stomach desperately needing to be fed. Opening the fridge I scanned over the contents with happy blue eyes "Ma!! Can i have the leftovers from last night!!?"

Awaiting her answer immediately tapping my finger on the side of the fridge. "OKAY!!" Taking that as my cue I grabbed the food I wanted and dropped it onto the table before walking over to the sink to wash my hands.

Once finished i hungrily began digging into my food the empty feeling in my stomach now gone but replaced with utter delight and happiness! I looked like a pig scoffing down all the food but I couldn't care less.

"Oi slow done! No one's going to take it from you" my mum scolded while slapping the back of my head causing me to cough some rice out onto the table. Looking up to my mum a sheepish smile playing on my lips as she just grimaced in disgust.

"Clean that up!"

"Yeah yeah i will"

Feeling yet anther harsh slap to the back of my head made me violently choke on my food. Patting my chest to recover from my little incident I glared irritatedly at my mum who snatched a mini sausage from my bento "Oops" she shrugged her shoulders innocently before running up to her room.

Throwing my chopsticks onto the table a frustrated huff leaving my mouth as my eye twitched violently "Gosh she's acting like a child!" I whined face planting the table completely fed up.

DING DONG

Perking my head up i scratched my scalp in confusion "Who could this be?.." I muttered to myself walking to the door my bunny slippers squeaking with my every step.

"YASMIN GET THE DOOR!!"

Rolling my eyes with a scoff I shouted back at my annoying mother "I AM!!!" Angrily pulling open the front door my irritated expression vanished immediately upon seeing- "ARMIN!!"

Jumping into his arms I happily let my head rest on his shoulder as he picked me up holding me by the bottom of my thighs. Chuckling happily he began walking into the house with me clinging onto him like a koala.

"Hey baby"

Lifting my head away from his shoulder to face him i quickly and cheekily stole a kiss from the cute boy who i have the privilege of calling my boyfriend. Smiling from ear to ear my sour mood disappeared because now I'm all sunshine and rainbows.

"Heyyy whatcha ya doin here babe?"

Placing me on the couch he then sat next to me his hand resting comfortably on my thigh "Historia wants you to meet her new girlfriend tonight at my house and then my mum butted in and told me to ask you if you want to stay over tonight..." he explained but the last part got me raising a questioning brow at him , Armin upon seeing this his eyes widened.

"EH! SHE MEANT IN HISTORIA'S ROOM!"

He covered his chest while leaning back away from me looking like i just touched him without consent or something . Slapping his chest playfully I couldn't help but laugh seeing how flustered he was "I know! I was just kidding"

His whole demeanour changed as he was suddenly leaning dangerously close towards me his lips inches away from my own "Or you could stay in my room if that's what you want baby" smirking widely he enjoyed watching me blush madly underneath him. Giving my lips a hot kiss he then stood up and began walking to the door.

"Well that's what i came to tell you! See ya tonight baby"

I walked over to him after snapping out of my trance his arms immediately wrapping around my waist. Leaning down to give me a kiss which was long and sweet we only pulled away when our lungs were practically screaming for air.

Smiling as he kissed me once more as if he was addicted to the taste of my lips he hesitantly pulled away "See ya tonight Armin" waving him goodbye as he walked across the street before entering his own home.

Sighing dreamily as i closed my door. The loud thumping of my heart and the red hue which lingers on my cheeks made me feel as though I was in a corny teen romance movie. Happily skipping upstairs i waltzed into my mums room her cigarette immediately being put behind her back as she stared at me in shock as a cough escaped her throat causing smoke to pool out.

Sighing at her terrible cover up i deadpanned at her before grabbing her cigarette pack and throwing it out the window ignoring the way she let out a defeated whimper.

Turning to her with a bright smile i announced "Armin invited me to his place tonight~~~" i gushed as my hand came up to my cheek. Rocking side to side and if this was a film hearts would be seen emitting from me.

"Ooh make sure to use protection okay!?" She said while putting out the cancer causing stick on the ashtray at the side of her bed. Rolling my eyes i sat on the end of her bed , my legs suddenly feeling tired "ma!! It's not like that- besides I'm sleeping in his sister's room!"

"Oh okay..uh sweetheart that is actually perfect timing because I'm gonna be out till tomorrow morning at the office, boss has got me working extra hours since someone called in sick yesterday"

Nodding understandingly i stood up stretching out my achy bones "Okay see ya tomorrow then" leaning over to her I pecked her cheek feeling the way her cheeks rises by a smile at my actions. "See ya sweetheart"
