When Lia awoke, she groaned, it was Christmas Eve and the Malfoy's would be hosting their annual Christmas Eve ball. And of course, her family had to attend. Her body still ached, bruises littering her pale body. A knock sounded at her door and she yelled come in.
"Hey Lia," Mattheo softly greeted.
"Hey Matty."
"The Malfoy's ball is tonight so I was wondering if you wanted to go to Diagon Alley and get a dress."
"That sounds nice. I'll ask Pansy to come, too. You can invite whom ever."
"Listen, I'm sorry about what happened last night. I should've stuck up for you."
"It's okay, Matty. I'm used to it, plus you know it's worse when you stand up to mom or dad."
"I know, I'm so sorry, though. I wish it was me instead of you."
"Don't say that, Matty. Come here," Lia motioned to Mattheo and he stepped over to her. She engulfed him in a hug, not caring about the pain throbbing throughout her body.
"I love you, Lia. You know, that?"
"I know, Matty. I love you, too. Some times I feel like you're the only person who does."
They broke away and Lia got dressed for Diagon Alley.

Lia's outfit.
Lia and Mattheo arrive in Twilfitt and Tatting's after they both get changed. There, Pansy, Draco, Blaise, and Theo are looking around, searching for the perfect attitire.
"Hey guys," Mattheo says, happy to see his friends.
"Merry Christmas Eve," Lia wishes everyone.
Lia walks over to Pansy, giving her a big hug. They walk around the store for an hour, looking at all different dresses. Lia tries her's on and gets it hemmed, the gown fitting too loosely. She also makes sure to buy a dress that covers her arm littered with self-harm. Pansy finds a stunning dress, too, the two them looking hot.

The boys all picked out white and black tuxedos, except for Draco who bought a new turtle neck black suit set. When they all paid and were set, they headed back to Lia and Mattheo's manor to get ready.
The boys were ready in less than an hour, getting to relax and talk about whatever boys talk about. The two girls spent 3 hours shaving, putting on makeup, doing their hair, etc. When all of them were ready, they threw on heavy cloaks and went threw the floo to the Malfoy's.
The Malfoy Manor was almost twice as big as Lia's. It was spacious and fit hundreds of people. Narcissa, Draco Mum, had decorated the whole house to fit the black and white theme. It was beautiful. The Slytherin crew mingled for a while, sipping quietly on champagne until it was time to dance.
"Now, we're going to have our annual waltz. Where some of the Sacred 28 children dance," Narcissa announced.
Lia was partnered up with Draco and as he went to grab her waist, she flinched. She didn't bother to meet his eyes, but when she did, they held an amount of concern.
"I like your dress," Draco complimented Lia, carefully clutching her waist. She put her hand on his shoulder and after the first spin, the whole world was gone. They danced like no one was watching, gracefully twirling and twisting to the rhythm of the song playing.
Lia her forehead rested on Draco's shoulder as the song finally slowed down, coming to a halt. The Slytherin crew gathered together and headed up to Draco's room, parting from the party. Lia sat on Draco's bed and ripped off her heels, completely exhausted after only one hour at the ball.
"Do you guys wanna drink?" Draco asked, taking a bottle of whiskey stashed in his drawer, out.
"I'll take some."
"I'm down."
"Can't say no to free alcohol."
Replies sounded through the room from multiple people.
"I'm okay right now," Lia answered, shivering at the thought of unneeded, liquid calories.
Draco opened the bottle of Whiskey, carefully pouring shots for all his friends. When Lia stood up off the bed too sit next to Pansy on the floor, everything was spinning and the world went black.
1 minute later...
"Lia! Lia! Wake up! Are you okay?" Someone said.
Lia's head was still foggy when she sat up from the floor.
"I'm ok. I think I just didn't drink enough water today. I'm gonna go get some air," Lia said, leaving despite her friends objections.
She walked onto one of the balconies, looking out into the sky and enjoying the beautiful stars.
"It's enough, Lia. You're not healthy," she heard a familiar voice behind her, it was Draco. Lia shook her head in protest, still not turning around.
"Have you even looked in the mirror, Lia? Do you see what you look like? I mean you're skin and bones."
"Stop," Lia declared.
"I knew about this and it's gone too far."
"That's not true."
"You're not okay, Lia. I want to help you."
"Why do you care?"
"Because, Lia, I'm your friend and I care about you."
Lia finally turned around to see Draco standing before her, chest heaving.
"I don't need help. I'm in perfectly great shape. I'm fine," Lia said to him, wiping continuously falling tears from her cheeks.
"Please, Lia. I don't want to help you for my benefit, or Mattheo's, your parents, your other friends, and whoever. I want to help you for yourself."
Thoughts whizzed through Lia's head. What will people think of me if I gain weight? I'm already fat. I can't go back to triple digits. I don't want to stop.
"I-I-" Lia started before Draco engulfed her in a bone crushing hug. For the second time today she ended up crying on a boys shoulder, holding onto Draco like a lifeline. He rubbed circles on her back, pressing his chin to her hair. She murmured words like 'I don't want to stop' 'I hate myself' 'I hate this'
By the time they pulled away Lia's mascara was ruined and her tears were dried. A few moments passed until she uttered words she never thought she would say, "I'll try and get better, Draco. I can't make any promises, though."
"It's ok. Pans, Me, Mattheo, Blaise, and Theo, we'll be here for you. Promise me one thing though, try and give life a chance."
(AN: This chapter is really bad, but I'm sorry I couldn't post yesterday. Please tell me if you think if I should start Lia's recovery and have her relapse or smth or have her lie to Draco. PLEASE COMMENT AND VOTE!)
