As Lia opened her eyes she let out a small sigh of relief. The train to Hogwarts had finally came to a stop and she would finally be away from her parents for about 3 months.

"Come on Lia! We have to get off the train," her best friend Pansy yelped. Lia was snapped out of her blissful trance and gave Pansy a nod

When Lia stood up, ringing flooded her ears and her vision turned spotty. She shook her head and carried on. Lia was trying to disregard the side effects of being malnourished.

Her and the rest of the Slytherin crew walked off the train and onto a small carriage. She sat down right next to Draco. Her leg touched his but neither of them bothered to pull away.

She didn't want to admit it, but Lia found something enticing about Malfoy. His platinum-blonde hair and eyes that swirled with grey and blue. She tried not to think about him to much, though. After all, it's not like they could stand eachother.

When their carriage arrived in front of Hogwarts, the school was already flooding with students. They were all trying to get to their dorm before dinner.

Lia gripped her trunk as her and her friends walked into the Slytherin common room. "I'm gonna go unpack. I'm not feeling to well so I'm going to just skip the feast tonight," Lia said, trying to sound as convincing as possible.

"Alright, I hope you feel better," Pansy smiled at Lia.

"Feel better, Lia." Theo, Blaise, and Mattheo said in somewhat union. Draco stayed quiet, just as she would suspect.

Lia walked into her dorm room. Since the dungeons were bigger than any other levels, Slytherin's were given separate rooms rooms from eachother. It was perfect for Lia.

After opening her trunk, she took out her scale and placed it in her bathroom. She quickly shed off most of her clothes except for her undergarments. She stepped onto the glass and it read in big numbers: 120 lbs

Lia sighed at the little progress made. Since fourth year, Daphne Greengrass had been making fun of her for her weight. Yes, she was a little overweight but she was going through puberty. Lia was also a tall 5'5, which made up for the extra pounds.

But Daphne's words pounded in her head. She had lost 20lbs from the beginning of the summer and didn't plan on stopping anytime soon.

Lia stepped into her full length mirror. Pinching and picking at spots of fat. Tears burned her eyes, threatening to fall. Lia didn't want to but she needed a release.

She grabbed, from her toiletries bags, a small blade picked out of one of her razors. She pressed it against the skin of her wrist, right above the vein. It wasn't the cutting that helped her, but the idea of littering her body with blood and scars.

When Lia was done she had made 12 new cuts, all gushing a crisom red. She wrapped the area in gauze, covered up her cold body with pajamas, and shuffled into bed.

She just hoped she would fall asleep with no troubling nightmares tonight.
