"yes, Its been fine and no I don't hate you for leaving me here" Eli said as she spoke on the phone with her uncle, her uncle had been calling her most days asking how she was, but lately he had been calling less.
"I'm trying to keep you safe, Look something has happened with your brother" he said, Eli's heart dropped, her and her brother were super close, there relationship got distant when he got a girlfriend but he still called often.
"What do you mean something happened, Is he okay?" She asked worried for her brother.
"He's fine, he's acting out, he says he can be on his own" Her uncle said, Eli didnt know what to say, she knew her brother would hate having to be watched but at the same times she knew he needed the protection just like she did, "He will be fine Eliana, Ill get him to call you when he is co-operating, you know he will come to his senses soon" he said.
After talking for awhile, Eli ended the phone, she was talking to to her uncle in the kitchen while Ash and Fez were in the lounge watching a bidding programme, they had heard her conversation and were curious. "You okay ma?" Ash asked as he turned his head a little to look at her.
"Ye just my uncle is having trouble with the business" she said, Ash nodded and gave her a weak smile before turning his head to the tv again.
After eating some toast Eli got bored and decided to see Maddy, Maddy had been blowing up her phone telling her she hadn't seen her best friend in so long, even though they saw each other last night.
Eli decided she would bike to Maddy's on Fez's old bike, she quickly got changed and started to head out "where you going Eli" Fez said as he got a glass out the cupboard, Eli turned to look at him.
"Out to see Maddy for a while" She said, she then tried to open the door but it was locked, she sighed and turned around.
"bro What have we talked about no way you going out alone, especially to Maddy's when her crazy boyfriend could be after you" Fez said, Eli sighed and groaned.
"Are you serious, I have a life too Fez and why you acting like I'm some fragile little thing, I can take care of myself you know" She said, Fez pulled a blunt out and began to smoke it.
"Then why you here under our protection" he said, Eli rolled her eyes and bumped her head on the door.
"my life sucks" she said, Ash then came round and asked Fez why Eli had her head to the door looking depressed.
"She's sad because she isn't allowed out" Fez said, Fez felt bad but at the same time not only wanted to follow order from someone who could put bullets in his head but also because he cared for the girl.
