4- Confused Malfoys

Draco gaped at the boy who was now sitting where his new dog just was, and Lucius was trying so hard to keep his wide eyes on the road. "You're..." Draco started. Harry realized that they probably had no idea what was going on. "An animagus, yes." Harry said.

"You shouldn't have transformed in front of us. We could have been muggles." Lucius, the ministry worker, said. Statue of Secrecy and all. "But I know you're not." Harry pointed out. "How!?" Draco asked. If another wizard could figure out they weren't muggles, did muggles find them strange too? How could they fix it?

"Simple. I could smell you're magical cores." Harry stated as though it was nothing. This made Lucius turn his eyes away from the road. "How is that possible?" Lucius asked calmly, as Draco stared at Harry with his jaw slack.

Harry realized that this was not you're regular wizarding trait. "It runs in my family, sort of like Parseltongue runs in Salazar Slytherin's Family and Descendants." Harry covered. He had no idea if it was possible to pass down something like that, but he doubted the Malfoys knew either.

Draco and Lucius seemed to believe his words. "Why were you at an Animal Shelter?" Draco asked. "Well, I'm an animagus and I wanted to go for a run. I was supposed to be back home by dinner but i accidentally walked out into a street and someone called the pound just because I growled at random people who wanted to touch me." Harry said, then his expression turned sad.

"My dad must be worried sick. I promised I would be home before dinner and i haven't been home in about a month." Harry looked down, smiling weakly to himself. He remembered when he first met Padfoot. "I'm so sorry." Draco said sadly. "Draco, We have to return him to his father." Lucius said.

"I won't be buying you another pet." Lucius said, not wanting to spend any more money today. "What!? It's not my fault that Samael's an animagus! How am I going to seem cool and make a good impression at Hogwarts now!?" Draco yelled in outrage.

Harry, who felt like he owed his saviours, spoke up. "If you want, I can help with that." "How? I doubt you're willing to leave your father and be a pet to strangers." Draco said, though it didn't sound bitter. "That's right. I'm not." Harry agreed.

Draco was about to ask how he could help again, but Harry started talking. "I can be you're friend. When I get my Hogwarts Letter, we can go to Hogwarts and I can go both as a student and you're pet."

"How would that work?" Draco asked. "It's simple. I'm an animagus, so we can hang out as friends while i'm in my animagus form while we also attend classes. That way you and I both make a good impression on Hogwarts students and I don't have to go back to being a simple pet on a kibble diet, and I can see my dad because he's applying for a job at Hogwarts last I heard." Harry explained.

Draco immediately lightened up. This was better than he could have hoped for. "Also, just so you know, My name is Harrison Black." Harry said as Lucius parked the car at Malfoy Manor. "Black? I didn't know Sirius had any children." Lucius said. He knew that the only existing person still living under the name Black was Sirius.

"That's where my story gets confusing." Harry replied, unsure if he should continue and tell them the whole truth. They were silent and staring at Harry, waiting for him to continue. Though they were parked, nobody made a move to get out of the car.

"I was born Harry Potter and Sirius is my godfather. I call him dad because he blood adopted me and is like a father to me." Harry explained, both Malfoys stared at him in shock. "Harry Potter!?" Draco asked. Harry looked at him.

"I realize my name is well known in the wizarding world, so I won't be going by that name. But, as you said, you want to make an impression. So, I won't be going by Harrison Black either." Harry said.

"What will you be going as then?" Draco asked as the shock subsided and they all exited the car, heading inside.

"Samael Grimm."
