Turns out my nap turned into me sleeping for the rest of the night. Getting out of bed I wonder over to my desktop and open up my job application. "Lunny get off the keyboard ". Picking Lunis up I plop him on the floor. Zero messages are shown on the computer screen. "Okay" it's only been a day, not sure what I expected. Bringing up other jobs I apply to all the ones I think I'd enjoy. I can tell I'm being kinda picky. Eventually I head to the kitchen to cook myself some breakfast. Well eating my eggs my phone rings. "Hey mom" I say answering the phone. Seeing the caller ID I knew who was calling. " what are you doing?". Shoving another piece of egg into my mouth I mumble nothing to her " Did you want to come over later today? I have a few things I got you". "Sure, I'm eating so I'll text you when I'm on my way". She always has things to give me. It's nice she thinks of me. " okay, bye" hanging up I return to my toast and eggs. On the way to my moms I noticed a box on the side of the rode. I'm not sure why but I pull over. Opening the box I see two kittens. "Awww, did someone leave you guys out here?" Picking up the box I place it in my car. Thank god I pulled over, I just had a feeling something was off about it. There weren't any houses for another 5 miles. I'm not sure how anyone can leave an animal to die. Pulling in to my moms house I crack the window a bit for the kitten and hurry into the house. Thankfully I still had the key. "Mom?" I say opening the front door. " Rayna" mom pulls me in for a hug " I can't be long I found kittens on the side of the road". "Oh, okay. Are you keeping them?" I wasn't sure if I was, Lunis wasn't a huge fan of other cats. " maybe" she turns around to go into the dinning room and hands me a bag. " I got you some socks and pajamas shorts, I thought you'd like them" opening the bag I look in and see socks and about three pairs of shorts. "Thanks mom. I'm gonna get going now". She looks like she doesn't want me to leave so soon. "Okay, drive safe." Driving home I'm worried about the kittens and if I should take them home. They seems to be big enough to eat regular kitten food. After 20 minutes of driving I arrive home. Taking the box inside I place it on the kitchen counter. Putting some food and water in a bowl for them. " this isn't for you Lunis." Looking down seeing him beg for the food I'm pouring into the dish. Putting inside the box I watch as they eat and have some water. I'm just gonna keep them in my room for a bit and hope my devil child eventually accepts them. I find another extra litter box in my storage and fill it up, setting up the kittens area. I let them out of the box in my room and watch them wonder around. Poor babies, just left on the side of the road. I can't believe people. After watching and playing with them I decide to relax for a bit and just let the cats get adjusted to the new environment.
