Just like you had predicted, you got barely any sleep at all. You were too excited. You wanted to go back to the Pizzaplex, you were being drawn to it. You had gone back to work the next morning, carrying Oliver into the building. He was fast asleep this time. You knew he had woken up a few times throughout the night.

You entered the building using your keycard, waving at Dave as you passed by the front desk. You made your way up to the daycare entrance, opening the doors and stepping inside. Surprisingly, no one was there yet. Amanda wasn't at the check-in desk and looking down at the daycare you saw no sign of Peter. It was a little surreal, if you were being honest.

You quickly went back out to grab a few Fizzy Fazz drinks before taking the stairs down to the entrance. Pushing the door open with your hip, you carefully setting the drinks down on the desk and sitting Oliver down in the chair.

"Sun! Moon! Are either of you there!" you called.

You watched Sun charge out from the curtains and onto the balcony, his eyes immediately landing on you as they lit up.

"New friend! You came back!" he exclaimed, jumping down and running towards you. He pulled you into a hug, laughing as he spun you around.

"Yup! I wouldn't miss this job for the world," you said, laughing as well.

The daycare lights went off and the two of you let out small squeaks, Sun dropping you and falling to the floor as he transformed into Moon. You looked over, seeing Amanda standing by the light switch.

"Shh, we have a child sleeping," she said, gesturing to Oliver.

You smiled and rolled your eyes.

"You're gonna regret letting him rest up so much. Trust me, he'll be worse than a Loony Toons character," you said.

You felt a pair of arms wrap around your waist and you glanced over your shoulder, seeing Moon behind you. His eyes were closed and there was a soft smile on his face. He looked so relaxed like this.

"Hah, I finally get to see what cuddle mode actually is," Amanda said.

"Yeah, well I'm the one who gets to experience it," you said, sticking your tongue out.

"Yeah, yeah. Anyways, I didn't think you'd be here this early. Not that I mind, it'll be nice having some help with maintenance for once," Amanda said.

"Wait... what?" you asked.

"Well, technically, you're not supposed to be in until closer to five, yesterday they just wanted you to have some extra time to get to know the building. Not like management will care much, in fact I think they'll be glad to see a maintenance worker coming in early. And speaking of maintenance, they want to start looking into new upgrades for the daycare attendant. We gotta take him down to maintenance hall," she explained.

"What about Oliver?" you asked.

"We can probably take him to hang out at the food court. Some of the workers you saw me talking to last night work there and would be more than happy to watch over him for a little," she said.

You nodded, frowning slightly. You were a little worried about leaving Oliver with workers you didn't know, but you had to trust them.

"It's alright, little one. Your brother will be fine," Moon said.

"You know basically everyone here is older than you, right?" Amanda said.

"I'm taller, therefor I am superior," Moon said.

You let out a small laugh as Amanda rolled her eyes.

"Yeah, well I'm the daycare manager which trumps your superiority by tallness," Amanda said.

You laughed even harder as the two started going back and forth. Somehow, Oliver managed to sleep through it all. Even as you lead the two out of the daycare and out to the main atrium to find someone to watch over him, he slept through it all. Between their argument, Amanda pointed out the worker you could talk to. You walked over to them while her and Moon kept arguing. Somehow, it was still dark enough for him to be out.

"Hey um... do you think you can watch over my little brother? I need to help with some maintenance on the daycare attendant," you said.

"Oh, I remember you from last night! Of course, I can watch over the little guy!" the worker said.

"Thank you so much," you said, smiling. You set him down on one of the seats, gently shaking him awake. "Hey, I need to go take the daycare attendant down to do some repairs. You think you can stay here for me until I get back?"

Oliver nodded and smiled, stretching slightly.

"Don't worry, I'll keep a close eye on him," the worker said.

"Alright, thank you," you said, giving them a smile and a wave as you walked back over to Amanda and Moon. "Alright, you two. Let's get you down to maintenance hall," you said, grabbing Moon and dragging him into a brighter area so he could transform into Sun.

Surprisingly, you were able to actually lead them to the maintenance hall without much incident. There was the occasional transformation depending on where you were, but it was manageable. By the time you had gotten down to the maintenance hall, the daycare attendant was in his night form.

"So, what kind of maintenance is this again?" you asked.

"Cosmetic and upgrades. Management has some ideas about how to improve the functionality of the daycare attendant. They also got a program update. The main four, Monty, and DJ already got the program update, so all that's left is Mr. I wanna be a bitch," Amanda explained, glaring slightly at Moon.

"Watch your language. We're in a children's restaurant," he sneered.

"Enough, we have upgrades," you said, pushing Moon into the chamber. "Why are you two even fighting?"

"Moon gets in fights with the staff all the time. He's a bit more assertive and bossy compared to Sun," she said, shrugging.

"Perfectly fine traits, if I do say so," Moon said.

"Listen here, bud. I control what your face looks like at the end of the day so if you don't want to go back to your prototype face, I suggest you behave and stay on my good side," Amanda growled.

"Prototype face?" you asked.

"It's creepy, trust me," she said.
