You watched as Sun's arms slowly wrapped around himself and he began to curl into a ball. You were quick to pull him close and hug him.

"Sunny, it's okay. It's gonna be okay," you said.

"Is... is that what happened after that man came in?" he whispered.

"You remember what happened?" you asked.

"Sort of... we heard commotion outside and when we looked, we saw a man hit Bonnie with a crowbar. I don't remember anything after that," he said.

You nodded. Maybe you were right to save the chip. Maybe there was a memory file you could access. Eclipse hadn't been used much for security, so there shouldn't be a lot of video footage to go through. At least, you hoped there would be some sort of video memory. If not, you were basically screwed.

"Look, it's gonna be okay. You did nothing wrong. If anything, it's management's fault for installing that security chip," you said.

Sun looked up at you, looking like he was going to say something but stopped. You were slightly confused at first, until he spoke up.

"Your shoulders," he said, slowly reaching a hand up to one of your shoulders.

"Hey, don't worry about it. It's already been bandaged," you said, grabbing his hand.

"Did we do that?" he whispered.

"I-... it was Eclipse. Neither you nor Moon had nothing to do with this," you said.

Sun slowly nodded. You let out a small sigh, standing up. Then, an idea hit you. You ran out of the daycare, running over to the nearest Fizzy Faz soda machine and pulling out your wallet. You bought two of the drinks before grabbing them and running back down to the daycare. You saw that Sun was already at the door, poking his head out and looking around. You hid the drinks behind your back, smiling.

"What are you doing, (y/n)?" he asked.

"You like Fizzy Faz, right?" you said, holding the cans up. "I thought you'd like some. This is also the closest I can get to alcohol right now."

"(y/n)!" Sun exclaimed, causing you to laugh. "That is not appropriate talk for the daycare!"

"But there aren't any kids around," you said.

"Still. You shouldn't get used to saying those sorts of things here," he huffed.

"So, if we weren't in the daycare, you'd go out drinking with me?"

"(y/n)!"

You nearly fell on the floor laughing. You couldn't get enough of this animatronic.

"Just take one of them before I drop it," you said after calming down from your laughing fit.

Sun sighed, shaking his head and taking the drink as a smile formed on his face. You let out a small giggle. You were glad you were able to do something to make him feel better. You didn't know how long it would last, but the fact that he was smiling now was enough.

You and Sun opened your drinks, Sun nearly downing his in one large gulp while you took small sips. Checking the time on your phone, you realized it was noon. You sent Amanda a quick text, asking where she and Oliver were before setting your phone down. Sun was bouncing around the daycare, seeming to be having the time of his life. Your phone buzzed and you turned it on, seeing a text from Amanda.

"We're at the park right now and are going to be getting lunch soon. How's everything going at the Pizzaplex?"

You smiled slightly, typing out a response.

"It's going fine. We got the attendant fixed up but not Bonnie. Someone else might be fixing him, though."

"What's going on in here?"

You looked up to see Vanessa leaning in the doorway. Her eyebrows were raised and she looked somewhat confused at the sight of you sitting on the floor and Sun bouncing around.

"Not much, to be honest. Just making sure Sunny here doesn't bounce around so much that he damages himself," you said.

"I will not hurt myself, thank you very much!" Sun exclaimed, pouting slightly.

"How are you so happy? Dave said you had been attacked," Vanessa asked.

"Probably the Fizzy Faz. I'm pretty sure it's laced with something," you said.

"(y/n)!" Sun yelled.

You snorted, covering your mouth. You noticed Vanessa crack a smile as well.

"What about you? Why are you here?" you asked.

"Thought I'd explore on my own for a bit. I want to make sure I know where I'm going," she said.

You nodded, taking another sip from your Fizzy Faz. "So, will I be seeing you around more?" you asked.

"I don't think so. They want me to work the night shift," she said.

"Dang. Well, hopefully you have fun working here," you said.

"It'll definitely be interesting working here," she said.

Your phone buzzed again and you picked it up, seeing another text from Amanda.

"Do you think you can come down to the park soon? Ollie is getting worried about you."

You shot a quick ok back before putting your phone in your pocket and standing up.

"Sorry, Sun, but I've got to go. I'll be back tomorrow," you said.

"Promise?" he asked.

"Promise," you said.

"Where are you going?" Vanessa asked.

"To uh... one of the parks around here. My little brother apparently needs me," you said.

"Do you need a ride?" she asked.

"If you're okay with giving me one," you said.

"It's fine. I'm gonna go get changed out of my uniform. Meet me out front when you're ready," she said.

You nodded and watched as Vanessa left. The second the door closed, you felt Sun pull you into a tight hug, nearly causing you to drop the can of Fizzy Faz you were holding.

"Take care, Sunshine," he said.

"I will. You take care as well, okay?" you said, laughing slightly.

Sun smiled and nodded. Then, he leaned down and gave you a quick kiss on the cheek. You blushed slightly and felt your heart soar. Leaning up, you kissed his cheek.

"I'll see you tomorrow," you said.

Sun nodded and you left the daycare, giving him a small wave. He stood at the doorway, waving as well. Once you were out of the main daycare area, you leaned against the closest wall and covered your face with your hands.

"He fucking kissed my cheek."
