After getting changed into your costume, you started going through the different dances with the group. Most of them were ones you remembered from high school with some new choreography added, but there were a few you didn't know. Sun watched you the entire time, making it even harder to practice. Your cheeks were dusted red the entire time and some of the worse slipups made you want to curl up into a ball and cry. Freddy, Chica, and Roxanne watched as well, giving you tips or compliments or, in Roxanne's case, telling you how much better it would be if she was up there. After an hour, Monty and Bonnie came out and joined the group.

By the end of practice, everyone was in costume so you could get a feeling for what it'd be like. Well, everyone but James, who didn't feel the need to put his on since he wouldn't be dancing anymore. The other five had the main group down. Katie had done a Freddy costume, Jacob had gone with a Bonnie costume, and the other three had Chica, Roxanne, and Monty covered. James was apparently going with a DJ inspired outfit which meant that with you now in the group, you had every major animatronic in the Pizzaplex covered.

"Alright, I think we've got it now. You feeling okay, (y/n)?" Katie asked.

"I... I think I'm fine. I should be able to do it by tomorrow," you said.

"You're a quick learner, I'm sure that just by sleeping on it, you'll have it done by tomorrow," Katie said.

"Mhm. Besides, we're going to be doing these performances all week, so you'll definitely have it down after the first day or two," Jacob said.

You nodded.

"Alright, guys! Let's head back to Rockstar Row and crash there for the night!" one of the other staff members said, motioning everyone off the stage.

You hopped down, grabbing your stuff and packing it up. You were about to follow when you felt a hand on your shoulder. You looked up, seeing Sun looking down at you with a slightly nervous look.

"Are... are you going with them?" he asked.

"I mean... I don't know. I guess I can go back to the daycare," you said.

"Hey! (y/n)! You coming?" Katie called.

"I think I'm going to crash in the daycare!" you called back.

"Alright, I'll come grab you tomorrow, then!" she said.

"Sounds good! Have a good night!"

"You too!"

You watched as everyone left with the main animatronics. You could hear their conversation fade as they left the main stage, leaving you and Sun alone. You both quietly stood there, you unsure of what to do. You felt Sun place a hand on your back, causing you to look up at him.

"Let's go back to the daycare, shall we?" he said.

You nodded and the two of you walked back, his hand never leaving you. Right before you entered the daycare, the lights in the building shut off. You jumped slightly, looking around.

"The fuck," you whispered.

"Language, Starlight," Moon said, pulling you closer.

"S-sorry," you mumbled.

"It's alright. The lights turn off every hour so the main animatronics can charge. It doesn't last too long," he said.

You nodded and he brought you back into the daycare. The aerial cord descended from the ceiling and he attached it to his back before picking you up. You gripped onto him as the cord lifted the two of you into the air.

"You look lovely in that costume," he said.

"Th-thank you," you said, blushing slightly.

"We should be thanking you. We don't normally see any of the workers making costumes based on us. The closest we get are workers who wear those masks they sell in the gift shop," he said.

"So, I'm one of the first?" you asked.

"Mhm. It's a bit of an honor," he said.

You glanced around, watching as Moon landed on the balcony and set you down. You walked into their room as Moon disconnected the cable from his back. You stretched your arms above your head as you yawned. You were beyond tired. Between the lack of sleep from last night and the energy you used dancing, you felt exhausted.

"Get some sleep, Starlight. You need it," Moon said, gently ruffling your hair.

You nodded, going over to the couch and curling up on it. There was some rustling before you felt a blanket being draped over you. You glanced up, seeing Moon standing above you with a soft smile on his face. He took a seat on the floor next to the couch, pulling out one of the Moondrop candies and offering it to you.

"Would you like one?" he asked.

"Yeah. Hopefully, it'll knock me out," you said, taking the candy as you let out a small chuckle.

"It should. There aren't many people it doesn't work for," he said.

You nodded as you popped the candy into your mouth. As the candy started to take effect and your eyes fluttered closed, you could hear Moon quietly humming. It was nice. He was nice. The Daycare Attendant was one of the nicest, most comforting animatronics you had ever met. You wanted to stay around him. You didn't want to lose one of the few sources of comfort you had left.
