"I'm really sorry about that, guys," Amanda said, sitting up and rubbing the back of her neck.

"It's fine. You're a lot better at acting then I am so I'm kinda glad you stepped in," Peter said, helping her up.

"Sorry about hitting you. No hard feelings, right?" she said, turning to you.

"Eh, I guess no. It was for the greater good of the daycare, right?" you said.

"Oh, thank god! I was worried you'd be like livid at me or something," she said.

"Oh, I am. You cussed in front of little Ollie," you said, a sweet but deadly tone to your voice.

Amanda's face paled slightly and she let out a nervous chuckle, hiding behind Peter.

"Well, now we need to figure out how to deactivate the Eclipse protocol," Peter said, walking over to the desk and grabbing the tablet from it. He started scrolling through it while you picked up Oliver and hugged him.

You could feel Eclipse hugging you from behind as he rested his head on top of yours. You leaned back against him, watching as Oliver reached up to put a hand on his face.

"You're okay, right? You're not hurt?" he asked, still using both Sun's and Moon's voice.

"Yeah, it's fine. My cheek doesn't really hurt anymore," you said.

"Good. I'm glad you're safe," he said.

"How are you two? You're both okay, right?" you asked.

"Both?" Eclipse tilted his head.

"Um... which of you is talking?" you asked.

"I am," Eclipse said.

You furrowed your eyebrows and stared at him for a few seconds before it dawned on you. The difference between the two activation methods. If Eclipse mode was activated by light, it just allowed Sun and Moon to talk at the same time without having to turn the lights completely on or off so they could switch. If the Eclipse mode was activated by a safety protocol, then it was a fusion of both of their personalities.

"I know what that weird line in the manual is!" you yelled, catching Peter and Amanda's attention.

"You do?" Peter asked.

"Yeah! So, when Eclipse is activated by light, it means Sun and Moon are both in control and can talk without having to keep switching the lights on and off. When Eclipse is activated for security reasons, their personalities fuse. It's like the fusions in that show!" you explained.

"Oh yeah! Steven Univers! I know what you mean," Amanda said.

"Huh?" Peter gave the two of you a confused look.

You watched as Amanda explained part of the show and how some of the characters could fuse with each other to make whole new characters. As Peter finally understood what was going on, he slapped his face and groaned.

"I am so close to overthrowing management," he groaned.

"Let's overthrow the Fazbear government!" Amanda exclaimed.

"Please no," Eclipse said.

"Ok, deactivating, found it. It just needs a scan from a security badge," Peter said, holding up the tablet.

"Wow, that's simple," you said.

"Well, there's more. If a staff member is doing the assaulting, then their badge won't work to deactivate it. A badge can also activate the Eclipse protocol if there's a known threat in another part of the building," Peter said.

"So, I'm guessing my badge probably won't work," Amanda said.

"Let's test it," you said. Amanda walked over and you could feel Eclipse tense up. "It's okay, she won't do anything."

Eclipse nodded and you watched as Amanda went to his back side, holding her security card up to the back of his head. Nothing.

"Is that even the right spot?" you asked.

"Should be," she said.

You took out your card, slipping out of Eclipse's grasp and going behind him. You reached up and held your card up, hearing a small beep as he transformed back into Sun.

"Sweet, now we know it-"

Amanda was cut off by Sun grabbing her shoulders and glaring at her.

"You were cussing when there was a child in the daycare," he growled.

"Great! Now I'm getting crap from two people!" Amanda exclaimed, causing you and Peter to laugh.

"Leave her be, she was just trying to play the part," you said.

Sun growled, slowly letting go of her. Even though you should've probably been scared at how angry Sun had been, something about the reason he was angry was just funny to you. He probably wouldn't have been mad at Amanda if she didn't cuss, and somehow that thought made the whole scene funny to you.

"Well, let's get back to testing. We have a few more things to go over before we can have lunch," Peter said.

As testing resumed, you couldn't help but smile. Two days in and you were loving this job. The people, the environment, the animatronics. You felt at home here. Oliver seemed to like it as well. He was having so much fun playing with the daycare attendant and the other kids. You were pretty sure the daycare attendant was the reason you loved working here so much. Everything about him made you feel safe and relaxed. He was probably designed and programed to be that way, but that didn't stop you from liking him.

After testing was over, Amanda and Peter went to go get something to eat for all of you. Oliver had gotten it into his head that he wanted to march around the daycare singing songs and nursery rhymes. You sat at the security desk, Sun finally gaining a bit of confidence to go behind there. He was leaning over your back, his hands draped over you as he hummed to the daycare music.

"Hey, Sun?" you asked.

"What's up?" he asked, leaning over you so he could see your face.

"Do you dance?" you asked.

"Of course! I dance with the little ones all the time! They love, love, love it!" he exclaimed, jumping off of you and doing a little twirl. "What about you?"

"I can dance a little. Probably not as good as you," you said, smiling.

"Don't say that! I'm sure you're just wonderful at it!" he said.

Oliver made his pass by you, this time chanting the SpongeBob theme. You snorted, covering your mouth. You could see Sun smiling as well.

"That child, I swear," you said, giggling.

"He's such a nice friend! He gets along very well with the other kids," Sun said.

"Yeah, I don't think there's a bad bone in that child's body. He could do no wrong," you said.

"Just like you!" Sun exclaimed.

"H-huh?" You looked at him, a little confused.

"You're so nice to everyone and you're good with the kids! Moon says you can even sing! You have to be the best human daycare attendant I've met!" he complimented.

"Come on, I'm not that great at it. Peter's probably way better than me," you said.

"But you're nice to me! Peter can be so mean to me sometimes..." Sun grumbled.

"Just like how Moon and Amanda don't get along," you said.

"Oh, yes. Those two don't like each other. Moon kept pulling pranks on her when she first started here and they've been rivals ever since," he said.

"What do you think about her?" you asked.

"I think she's very nice. If a child is scared to go down the slide, she'll go down with them. I don't talk to her very much, though," he said.

Speaking of the devils, the large wooden doors to the daycare opened and Peter and Amanda walked in.

"Who wants Pizza!" Peter yelled.
