Chapter 2: Dreamscape newcomer

No one's POV
Skye was the last to see Chase,and after wishing for his return,a tear fell from her face and dripped on Chase's forehead. She left the room bursting with tears and has to sleep without him. Suddenly,something happened to Chase while everyone was away

Chase's POV
I am not okay...I can feel a very painful pressure on my back,and my head hurts like literally...but wait...how am I able to feel? Just then,I realized that I was dead,but my soul is not. "Oh no...oh no no no no no!" I panicked. "I have to get back! Skye needs me!" I said as I struggled to enter my dead body,but no matter how hard I try to get in...i just can't... "Oh no! This is not good! I'm in a coma!" I said to myself. Suddenly,a bright light appeared above me,and it took me so fast that I wasn't able to react when it got me. "WHOOAAA!!!" I yelled as the mysterious force is taking me somewhere very very very far from Earth. I can see myself pass through the planets of the solar system,then outside the Milky Way Galaxy,and- "Woooowww...." I exclaimed in wonder as I saw the whole universe in front of me. "Where is this taking me?" I said. Everything went bright so I closed my eyes,and then after opening my eyes,I can see myself in a very beautiful village made of stars and lights. The people here are made of stars and lights too and i let out a long "wow" on the whole scene. The mysterious force seems to stop dragging me now and I fell into the soft cloud below. "AAAHHH- oof... Wow,now that's one way to land... Now where am I? What is this place?" I exclaimed in both awe and curiosity. Someone came up to me and said "Welcome to Dreamscape! The best village if you're ever looking for a dream! How can I help you,sir?". This someone made out of stars...she seems familiar...I can recognize those beautiful,fluffy ears,that cute little tail,and that little fur striking out. "Well i- wait a minute...you look familiar...who are you?" I said. "I'm Skye! But everyone here calls me Constellation Skye...you can call me by both if you'd like" she said with a smile. "Y- you're- you're Skye?!" I said stuttering. "Uh yeah? Wait a minute...are you who I think you are? Chase? Is that your name?" She said in curiosity and I said "Yes,I am Chase". "THE REAL CHASE?!" she said with more excitement. "Uh...yeah" I said with a little confusion. She squealed in excitement and did a backflip(wow she definitely is someone like Skye). She was so happy to meet me,although I don't even know her yet

Constellation Skye's POV
"OMGOMGOMGOMG!!! It's a real pleasure seeing you,Chase!" I exclaimed in excitement. "Whoa whoa whoa,hold on...I don't even know where I am and I'm not really sure who you are..." He said with a little discomfort. "Well...let me explain a lot about all of this...I am Skye,but not the Skye you have on your own world. I'm just a constellation version of your real Skye and my job is to protect you from nightmares brought by the evil Voids. If you woke up from a nightmare,it's totally my fault since I can't really handle all of them at once. If you're wondering how you got here,well let's just say...I...um...I brought you here with that force that took you here...and now you're in my village" I meekly smiled at that part. "WHAT?! WHY?! I HAVE TO GET BACK TO SKYE! I mean you're Skye,but I love her more. Why did I end up here?! Why did you took me here?!" Chase said,being hysterical. "Well...I can't do my job if you're dead,and you are dead... I can't just lose you,so I had to bring you here to save you...if your soul is here,you can even get a chance to come back in your real world alive" I said. "Wait really? How?" Chase said,desperate. "Well...um...I don't really know how...but I know someone who can help you! Follow me!" I said,and I started skipping on the clouds while he looks at me like he hasn't even seen me do it before. "Come on! It's fun!" I said.

Chase's POV
"Well,here goes nothing" I gulped. I jumped with all my strength and- "WHOA!!!" I jumped so high..."Wait! How did I do that?!" I said. "Here in Dreamscape,everyone can jump high,so I suggest you try to jump a little bit" she said. "Alright then,you can do this,Chase" and I started jumping from cloud to cloud with ease. "Hey! I'm doing it! This is fun!" I exclaimed.

Constellation Skye's POV
*giggles*

Chase's POV
Uh oh,I missed a cloud and now I'm falling to my doom! "AAHHH!!! HELP!". I realized I wasn't falling and this Skye is carrying me. "Hehe,okay Chase,enough fun for now,I'll show you to her" she said while she flies into a near library that is also made of stars while carrying me with her paws. Not gonna lie,her paws are so soft,and I have no idea how she can carry me because she's made of stars. As we enter the library,it was so huge and it's filled with tons of books,well obviously made of stars but I bet they're going to be a bit easy to read. She finally came to a stop and let go of me on a seat. She then flew over to someone and said something to her,though I can't hear her in the distance. She came back to where I'm sitting and with her is a Constellation version of... EVEREST?! I am SO confused right now...

Constellation Everest's POV
"Everest,meet Chase from the real world" my best friend said. "Hi Chase! It's so nice to meet you! It's been a long time since someone from your world came to visit here..." I said. "You're a Constellation version of Everest?" he said. "Yes,Marshall from your world isn't sleeping so I can't do my job..." I said. "What are you talking about? It's like midnight in my world by now..." He said. "He was still awake...and he misses you..." I said.

No one's POV
Chase: Oh man...there are so many questions I wanted to ask for all of you right now...

Constellation Everest: Well,since you're here,you can start asking now...

Chase: Like...why can't you do your job when Marshall's awake? Does everyone have a constellation version of us in the real world? And who are the Voi-

Constellation Skye: Shhh!

Chase: What?

Constellation Skye: We'll talk about that later... Constellation Everest,we need your help. This Chase is currently in a coma and still has a chance to come back in his world. But you're the only one who knows where that sacred place is and we have to hurry or else he'll be dead for real. Can you help us find it?

Constellation Everest: Well...Marshall isn't asleep yet so yeah,I can help

Chase and Constellation Skye: Thanks!

Constellation Everest: But this is as far as I can get...the rest of you can do it yourselves,and I know you can
