Ryder's POV
I looked through the window and saw the clouds are gray and is about to rain. "hmm,I wonder where my other pups are at?" I thought to myself as my pup pad rang and I picked it up. It was an emergency from the hospital Chase is in... "Hello? Ryder? Bad news! You must come over quick!" the veterinarian said. "Why?! what's going on?!" I said and the veterinarian sighed as she began to tell the details. "Chase is having unexpected scratches and wounds! We never knew who was doing this to him,but what's worse is that his heart rate is slowly going down!" the veterinarian said and I gasped. "No...how could this happen? I can't replace Chase,Skye will be so sad..." I said and the veterinarian sighed. "Okay, we're going to try our best to keep him at bay until this situation is over." the veterinarian said as she hung up. What am I going to do? Skye won't like this news...or even the other pups... I have no choice... I have to tell them what's going on

Skye's POV
"Guys...I'll be honest with you...I receive a lot of messages from Chase...It looks the same as this letter and he brought me this star bottle and a bunch of star fruits...that's why I wasn't feeling depressed,because I know out there he's trying to get back to us" I said and they all understood. "Is that so?" said someone behind me. I looked at my back and I saw Ryder with a downy face. "Y-yeah...it's true..." I said. "So...you're saying Chase is still alive out there?" Marshall said and I nodded. "But then...what about this letter?" Everest asked and I was caught off. "Ryder...this was a letter from someone who hates him. He was planning on keeping Chase from coming back,and I don't know why" I said and Ryder said "that's what I was going to tell you...you see,Chase's heart rate is going slow...it won't be a matter of time and it will become his end". All of us gasped. "What happened to him?!" Rubble said and Zuma added with "Don't tell me he's literally losing his life...". "Wait...this must be what his hater means...Chase still has two days left and right now,he's slowly dying...he's poisoning his heart!" I said as I took out my star bottle. "And I know just the thing that can help..." I said and I hopped onto my helicopter to fly towards the hospital. "Skye! Where are you going?!" Ryder yelled. "Meet me at the hospital! I can fix this! Let's take to the skies!" I said and flew off...

Narrator and viewers' POV
Skye wasted no time flying her helicopter to the hospital,even though it's raining heavily outside. Skye flew through the dark rainy clouds that seems to pour on her and slowing down her flight as the force of the wind keeps her from traversing through the skies. A bolt of lightning seemingly struck her vehicle and it deactivated,which went down slowly. She had no choice but to abandon the helicopter and ejected herself,but as soon as she got out,her parachute won't work as the latch was stuck in between her bag. She thought it's going to be the end for her,until Ryder and the rest of the pups came in to help her,and brought Chase's cruiser for her to drive on.

Everest's POV
"Hop on!" I said and she successfully landed on the seat without hurting herself. "Thanks guys!" Skye said and I responded with "You're welcome". Skye strapped herself on the cruiser and drove off.

Marshall's POV
"Skye! Be careful!" I said and she nodded in response as I threw a sack containing the star fruits to the back of the cruiser. Skye ate one and suddenly the cruiser glowed brightly and seemingly became invulnerable to the force of the wind.

Rocky's POV
Just as we started going after Skye,a bolt of lightning struck and it blocked our way! But Chase's cruiser managed to break through the tree without damage! These star fruits are something out of the ordinary...

Rubble's POV
I noticed something falling out of Skye's back... it's her cure! "SKYE! THE BOTTLE!!" I yelled,but as she turned over,another bolt of lightning struck and it startled her as the bottle began falling off the cruiser and into the wet road,where me and Ryder tried to avoid it. "NO!!!" Skye yelled as she stopped the cruiser and got off to retrieve the bottle

Zuma's POV
"Skye! The bottle!" I said as the wind blew the bottle into the ocean. Skye went after the bottle and then dived into the water. "SKYE!!" we all yelled...

Ryder's POV
What is she doing?! She'll drown! "SKYE,WHERE ARE YOU?!" I yelled...and there was a moment of silence until she emerges using her wings with the bottle. Me and the other pups sighed in relief and she decided to fly off to the hospital herself. Me and the other pups followed after her

Meanwhile in the hospital...

Skye's POV:
I immediately ran towards Chase's room and I saw him trembling violently...his heart rate is going to fade out slowly and without wasting time,I opened the star bottle and poured it onto him. There was a moment of silence as he stopped trembling...but his heart rate is still fading... "Come on,Chase...come back to me...come back to us...we need you!" I said while pouring every content left in my star bottle. The Heart Rate Monitor is statically still and there's no sign of breathing. I can hear Marshall,Everest,Rubble,Rocky and Zuma already letting out some tears while Ryder looked down on the ground with sadness.

meanwhile in Dreamscape...

Chase's POV:
Wait...my heart...it feels light...I can finally stand up again! Skye used the star bottle! Thanks Skye! You saved my life...

meanwhile in Adventure Bay...

Skye's POV:
Nothing... nothing worked... My whole world turned gray,and my tears started to flow underneath my eyes... "CHASE!!!" I cried while hugging him. "Chase...no..." Ryder said behind me and everyone else became sad. Everest sobbed on Marshall and Marshall can't help but shed a tear. After everything... nothing worked... I will never be able to see Chase again... All of this for nothing... nothing...

2 hours later...

A drop of my tear fell on Chase's forehead,and the heart rate monitor began to show signs of heart beats. I opened my eyes to see Chase... He's alive! "CHASE!!!" I hugged him with tears of joy in my eyes. "S-skye..." Chase tried to speak. Ryder and the other pups were so happy and they all hugged me. "You came back,Chase! Thank you!" I said. "No...thank you..." Chase said. "For what?" I said. "You...saved me...I couldn't have returned if it wasn't for you...you used the star bottle I gave you..." Chase said. "Oh Chase...I love you..." I said. "I love you too,Skye..." Chase said.
