Chapter 11: Love Betrayal

Chase's POV:
I can't believe it...I just happened to see my past mistakes through him...I can say that this version of me looks very dark,somewhat darker than this black hole I retrieved...I remembered him telling me that he knows every mistakes I'm going to make in the future,which brings myself to the question...what will be my next mistake,and me with Constellation Skye here...am I doing the right thing? Does Constellation Skye really has feelings for me? She...she doesn't wants me to leave?

Constellation Skye's POV:
This isn't good...Void Chase found us,and now he'll foil my plan to bring Chase back in the real world...I can't let him do that,the real Skye will be very devastated. And while that bothers me,Void Chase telling Chase that I have feelings for him is what bothers me the most...I mean,if Chase finds out...what will happen? what should I say? should I lie about it? but even if that happens,Void Chase would still know and will tell him anyway...oh no...this is bad...

Narrator and viewers' POV:
As Chase and Constellation Skye walked further and into their last destination, Constellation Skye felt that nauseous feeling again,but there is no sign of Void Chase or other voids around. She decided to tell Chase that she is still nauseous and needed some rest and told him to stay put and keep safe,to which Chase agreed. Chase,who was still wondering if Constellation Skye actually has feelings for him,decided to fill Constellation Skye's bag with a bunch of star fruits he found on a bush. With his thoughts for Skye,he felt like he can hear her crying somewhere in the galaxy. He heard how Skye was very exhausted from all the police duties he usually do,how she accidentally keeps forgetting when to wake the other pups,and how she was yelled at by the one she rescued and told her that she sucked at being a police pup. He felt so sad for Skye as he hears her sobbing from very far,and felt guilty for leaving them after an unfortunate accident that he unintentionally got into. "I promise...I will return,and I will never let you guys lose me again...just wait for me,and believe in me...I will come back for you all..." Chase said and he put some star fruits in a starlight-sender pouch,and then commanded it to deliver the star fruits to Skye. As the pouch flies away in the speed of light,he slowly sat down and sighed...but then,out of nowhere,Void Chase appeared and approached him slowly...Chase tried to run and tell,but he was controlled in place and he can't open his mouth.

Void Chase's POV:
"Shhh...we wouldn't wanna wake the star girl up,right?" I chuckled at that part and Chase glared at me. "What do you want? Leave us alone!" Chase said. "Whoa whoa whoa...I'm not just going to let you get tricked by this Constellation version of your girlfriend..." I said in a worried tone and he suddenly said "What do you mean...?". "Like I told you,I know what your next mistake is going to be,and that is trusting this star cockapoo to bring you back in the real world...and like I said,she has feelings for you and she clearly wants you for herself..." I said. "That is not true...she helped me gather these ingredients to get me back" Chase said and I laughed. "Oh and you actually think she knows how the fountain even works?! There is one page in that book that she didn't read...Page 246!" I said as I summoned a same copy of the book itself,turned to the page I'm referring to,and then showed it to him. He found out,that if he returns via the fountain of life without the core item,a purple gem from the very heart of the Void version of the person,he will return to the world,but at the cost of losing his memories.

Chase's POV:
"Oh no...is this true?" I gasped as I realized that I'll return in the world without any memories of Skye,Ryder and everyone I loved. "Unfortunately,Chase...I am you,your past mistakes...I already knew this is gonna happen..." Void Chase said in a worried tone and I sighed in disbelief. "No...I don't want to return with an empty mind,I'll lose everything...everyone I love..." I sighed and Void Chase patted me in the back. "I have the very thing you needed to return to the world with your memories...it's inside my heart...by taking this away from me,I lose my ability to scare you in your nightmares...but us Void creatures needed someone to scare,otherwise our life will be boring...but since you are desperate to get back in your world,I will sacrifice this gem for you" Void Chase said and I lightened up. "Really? you're doing this for me?" I said and he responded with "I am you...what will I lose besides not being able to scare you again?". I was so happy and I was about to grab it but he stopped me for a while..."But on one condition...you mustn't be with that star cockapoo anymore...she tried to keep you for herself and doesn't even want you to return. All you need to do is step up in front of her and tell her that you don't want her anymore,and when she's gone,I'll give you the gem...deal?" Void Chase said and I responded with "......deal......"

Constellation Skye's POV:
it's been 5 minutes now,and I'm awake...Chase is sitting still in a distance and I went over to tell him that we're going to hit the road. "Hi Chase" I said and he responded with "Hey...". "Well,we better get going before someone else tries to stop us" I said but Chase stood up immediately and he slowly approached with a suspicious look on me. "Constellation Skye...is it true?" he said and I got confused. "What? what are you talking about?" I said but he got madder. "is it true?! is it true that there is another ingredient you didn't mentioned of?! is it true that I'll return in the world with no memories of my life?!" he said and I trembled in confusion and fear. "Y-yes...I didn't want you to see your Void counterpart...I don't want him to get in the way,so I decided I'm going to retrieve the core item myself" I said but he's not done yet. "Constellation Skye...tell me the truth...do you have...feelings for me?" he said and I was caught off guard...oh no...Void Chase told him back there... "i...uh...it's not that...it's not..." I stuttered,trying to think of another answer. "TELL ME!!!" Chase yelled and I was forced to give in. "*sighs* yes,Chase...I don't know why,but it just happened..." I said and he came to realization. "Void Chase was right...you are selfish liar!" he fumed and left off but I said "but Chase! you need these ingredients to get back!" and he responded with "So what?! even if I return,I won't remember anything!". "But Chase! Please!!" I said and he yelled at me again "I DON'T WANT TO SEE YOUR SELFISH-LOOKING FACE EVER AGAIN!!! GET OUT OF MY SIGHT AND NEVER RETURN!!!". He walked away and I am left with regret on everything I did... *sighs* what have I done? I shouldn't have kept him for myself... now I lost his trust and there's no way he can come home now...oh Skye...I'm so sorry for stealing your boyfriend... *cries*
