Tessa was getting the girl's school lunches ready and listening to the news at the same time.
She had started to cut her daughter's sandwiches into triangles when she heard the following " Woodsboro, the town of two devastating murder sprees,one in 1996 and then again in 2011 woke up to the shocking news that 17 year old Tara Carpenter was brutally attacked last night by someone wearing a ghostface mask. She miraculously survived being stabbed in the stomach and hand and having her leg broken. She is currently being treated in Woodsboro community hospital. We are going to go live to Woodboro and get a few words from the sheriff of Woodsboro Judy Hicks, who survived the massacre in 2011".
Tessa froze. Not again. Surely. Tara was one of her students.
She shouted up to her husband Randy "Randy!! Come here".
Randy came down the stairs quickly "What is it baby?" He asked.
"The news just said Tara Carpenter was attacked by someone wearing a ghostface mask. She's alive, only just". Tessa said.
Randy knew what to do. He and Tess had been through this and survived four times. And they would get through it again. But this was personal. Tara was a friend of Randy's niece Mindy and nephew Chad. And nothing would happen to them because they were friends with Tara. He would make sure of that. Randy had too much family to protect.
If ghostface was back, Randy would do anything he had to do to protect his family.
