It had been a while since Dewey had developed a drinking problem. Because of this Tess distanced herself away from him. She and Randy had tried to support him to get well but he just pushed them away so Tessa had had enough. She knew he needed Gale and loved Gale but he was too stubborn to fix things. If anyone could get Dewey to see straight, it was Gale Weathers.

But right now was not the time for this. Tessa needed to see her older brother. She needed to know he was OK especially with another ghostface around.

"Do you want me to come with you?" Randy asked his wife.

She gave a short smile "I think this is something I need to do alone Rand. I'll be fine" she said before kissing him.

"OK ill get the girls to school" He said.

"Thanks baby. Then I gotta head to work. I suppose all Tara's friends will be at the hospital" she said.

"Nah, I rang Martha and she said Mind and Chad are going in aswell as Amber,Wes, Liv. Apparently Tara's older sister Samantha is coming to town. Wes rang her to tell her what happened to her sister" Randy explained.

"Samantha Carpenter " Tessa said remembering how troubled the girl was. How she had left woodsboro and her sister behind.

Tessa said goodbye to Randy and their two girls and made her way in her car to the trailer park where her brother was now living.

She arrived at the entrance and asked at the reception where her brother was. When she found out she drove through and pulled up outside and parked next to Dewey's truck.

She got out of her car and took a deep breath. She arrived and knocked on the door.

"Go away!!" Dewey shouted through the window.

"Dew, it's me Tess" she said.

"I have nothing to say to you" He said. She could tell he had been drinking just by his voice.

"Well I have a lot to say to you" she exclaimed. "Now open the goddamn door before I break it down!" She said.

She could then hear him moving about inside, then the door unlocked and began to open.

"Dewey, you look like shit" she said.

"If you've just come here to tell me that then you can turn around right now" He said.

She could smell the alcohol on his breath.

"No of course not, can I please come in?" She asked.

"Yeah" He whispered

She went inside his trailer and saw empty bottles and cans all over the place.

She sat down on a chair that had rubbish on it. She cleared it. She was mortified at the state of her brother and his living situation.

"So what do you want?" He asked drinking a glass of scotch.

"Did you hear about Tara Carpenter?" She asked.

"No, what happened?" Dewey asked.

"You haven't seen the news?" She asked.

"I was watching Gale's show as I do every morning" He informed her.

"She was attacked last night" she stated.

"You have come all the way to tell me that?" He asked not bothered.

"The attacker was wearing a ghostface mask" she said.

Dewey turned pale. He wanted to block out what his sister had just told him.

There was silence.

Then Dewey got up and grabbed his sister and chucked her out of his home.

"I was stabbed, beaten, left for dead, lost friends and family. I'm disabled because of this shit and you come here to tell me this! Get the fuck out! I want nothing to do with this" Dewey shouted visibly upset and shaken.

Tessa was in tears and got in her car and drove to work.

Her brother was well and truly gone.

Well the brother she had always known, she didn't know who Dewey was anymore.
