Being Questioned

Chad, Amber, Wes and Mindy were at the police having being questioned after Vince's death.

"I mean, I can't even believe Liv would sleep with that. Is it me? Am I not as hot as I thought I was?" Chad asked.

Wes retorted "You're a suspect in a murder and that's all you're worried about?".

"We're not all single virgins Wes" Chad said.

"Well maybe that'll all change soon" Wes said thinking about Tara.

"Wait.. you think that..." Chad smirked "she'll go out with you!".

"I think that Sheriff Hicks has her own suspect" Liv observed changing the subject looking into her office to see her talking to Dewey.

"Hey! That's my aunt's brother, he wouldn't harm a fly!" Mindy exclaimed.

"He did assault Vince, and Vince chucked him across the bar. Next minute Vince is dead.. coincidence... and he survived previous killers." Chad said.

"Dewey is a good guy" Wes said siding with Mindy.

"So did your aunt and uncle Chad. So maybe Randy and Tessa are suspects too?" Amber suggested.

"No, Uncle Randy and Aunt Tessa aren't fucked up drunk like Dewey" Chad replied.

"Hmmm..." Amber said. "But they also went through this four times aswell. I mean for fucks sakes, Tessa was even engaged to a killer. That's gonna mess you up".

"Can we stop arguing please, I'm trying to listen!" Exclaimed Liv watching Judy and Dewey.

Inside Sheriff Hick's office, Dewey was holding an icepack to his face. Judy felt bad that she had to question him. But he was a suspect.

"So do you know why you're here Dewey?" Judy asked across the table writing notes.

"You're deputy told me. Vince Schneider was killed last night after he assaulted me" Dewey told her. "If I'm honest it couldn't have happened to a nicer guy".

Judy couldn't believe what Dewey was saying. He had changed. And not for the better since he left Gale.

"What happened to you? You were such a nice guy" Judy said solemnly.

"I'm still a nice guy, I'm just tired and don't care anymore" He answered.

"Where did you go after you left the bar?" Asked Judy.

"Home" He said straight to the point.

"Did you drive in this condition?" She asked still taking notes.

"What? Bruised or drunk?" He asked sarcastically.

"For God sake I need to clear you! So just tell me!" She shouted at him in frustration.

"Relax, my neighbour saw me come home" He said.

She sighed in relief.

"Whoever did this was wearing a ghostface costume" she said.

"I know, my sister told me" He said.

"We think Tara's attack and Vince's murder are connected" she informed him. "Noone has more experience of ghostface then you".

"I can think of a few, you included sheriff" Dewey said.

"Look, what I'm saying is I could really use your help" Judy said sincerely.

"Can I go now?" He stood up. He did not want to get involved again.

"What happened to you?" She asked.

Suddenly Deputy Farney burst into the office "There's been another ghostface attack at the hospital. Sam Carpenter was attacked".

Dewey looked at the pair and said "good luck" before leaving his old office.
