Two hours later, Bridget enters the kitchen to see Franky hanging up her cell while letting out a heavy sigh. Boomer sits at the counter, eating her cereal, and watching in silence. Franky reaches to fill her coffee cup as Bridget walks up and wraps her arms around her waist. "Is everything okay baby?" She asks while resting her chin on her shoulder. Franky sets her cup down and turns in her arms, moving hers around the blonde's waist. "That was Vera. Judy passed away last night. She was one of Juice's crew that was attacked yesterday." Bridget tightens her arms. "I'm sorry baby." Franky frowns and rests her forehead against her wife's. "I didn't know her. It's just..." Bridget smiles and begins rubbing the brunette's back. "I know baby. What happens now?" Franky sighs. "Well. Hopefully we can add it to the charges." Bridget backs her head away slightly. "You have proof that she was involved?" Franky releases the blonde and leans against the counter. "Red is heading over there now to see what Allie knows. I'm gonna head into the office and start on the paperwork." Bridget walks over and leans up to kiss her gently. Franky smiles a bit before reaching for the side of the blonde's face. "I'm sorry for earlier." Bridget shakes her head as she leans against her. "It's okay baby."
Boomer watches on and notices a bit of stiffness coming from Franky but doesn't say a word. "Oh, and Vera said they are doing a sweep of our wing for bugs, so you can either go in late, or join me for the morning." Franky says while looking at Bridget. The blonde moves her arms around her. "What if I want to stay here for the morning...with you?" She asks before leaning up and kissing her deeply. Franky moves her arms around her and deepens the kiss. She lets out a soft moan before breaking the kiss. "I wish I could Gidge, but I've gotta get to the office." Knowing she's stuck between the counter and her wife; Franky tries to find a way out of this situation before it's out of her control. "Believe me, I want to..." Bridget smiles before kissing her again. Franky reluctantly breaks the kiss again. "I'm sorry Gidge, but I need to go." Franky drops her arms and wiggles her way out of her wife's embrace before heading for her bag, keys and the door. Bridget looks down at the untouched cup of coffee and back toward her wife as the door closes behind her. Boomer clears her throat. "Everything alright?" Bridget looks over at her, clearly in thought. "It was, until her appointment last night."
Vera stands in front of the office door and looks back at Allie. "Remember, only fifteen minutes." Allie blushes as she nods in reply as Vera opens the door allowing her in and closing it behind her. "Bea?" She says softly to the back of the woman in front of her. Red slowly turns around with a shy grin, having already shed her disguise. They practically run into each other's arms before embracing and kissing deeply. When they finally break apart to breathe, Bea holds Allie's face with both hands. "I was so worried about you." Allie kisses her gently. "I'm in good hands. You have nothing to worry about." Bea caresses her cheek with her thumb. "It's still the Freak. Who did she get to do the dirty work this time?" Allie smiles and leans in to kiss her again. Bea backs away. "Uh uh. Work before play." She says with a smile.
"Hey Fess? They say when court will reconvene yet?" Franky asks as she turns on her computer and sits behind her desk. Fessler looks through her memos and notes as she replies. "The prison is still on lock down, so probably not until next week. I'm surprised they let Bea in to visit honestly." Franky chuckles. "As long as all the women are accounted for, its mainly precautionary while they investigate." She opens a file with all her blank reports. "Speaking of. Is it possible to add new charges due to this attack; assuming we find evidence that Ferguson was involved?" Fessler looks back and smiles.
"So, Franky. How are you this evening?" Franky sits in the cushioned chair and fiddles with the seam on the arm. "I've been better." She says without making eye contact. "Any more incidents?" Franky looks up and clenches her teeth. "If you are referring to my past behavior, then no." Dr. Stoll looks back as she taps her pen against her notepad. "Are you certain about that?" Franky closes her eyes and thinks back to last night. She feels her heartbeat increase as she recalls Bridget's hands on her body. She shakes her head slightly before opening her eyes. "Yeah. I'm certain." Dr. Stoll looks on, waiting for her to elaborate. "I went straight to bed when I got home. My wife woke up, but I didn't initiate anything." 'Not that I didn't want to.' She thinks to herself. "And your wife?" Dr. Stoll asks. Franky lets out a heavy sigh and turns to look out the window. "She was...feeling frisky. I took care of it and we went to sleep." Dr. Stoll jots something down in her notepad. "I see." Franky looks back at her. "I don't know what she has to do with anything. I'm the one with the issues." Dr. Stoll looks up in the middle of writing. "You don't think she initiates intimacy to stop you from forcing her to do things, or from hurting her?" Franky opens her mouth to comment but hesitates. 'Didn't she tell herself Bridget only started something last night to calm her down? What if the doctor is right? What if Bridget is afraid of her forcing her to have sex and just complies to stop her from hurting her; from going through with what she did to her in her cell? Franky fights the tears that threaten to spill from her eyes. She recalls the look of fear on Bridget's face that day in her cell; the stoic look on her face that night she went looking for comfort after catching up on the case. Is it possible that deep down inside, her wife is afraid of her? No. She wouldn't have practically been all over her this morning if she was. But she has needs too. Maybe, just maybe...' "Franky? Are you okay?" Dr. Stoll asks with concern. Franky blinks her eyes; unaware she's been in deep thought for over five minutes. "I uh. I need to go." Franky stands and walks toward the door. "Franky wait. You still have twenty minutes."
Tony walks up and places a fresh beer on the table. "Hey kiddo; take it easy will you. I've heard of replacing the carpet but not the cushions." Franky reaches for the fresh beer and takes a long swig. "Sorry." She says before taking another swig. She places the beer down and reaches for the pool cue but is too slow for Tony. "What's going on? I haven't seen you this down since you were a teen." Franky frowns and leans against the side of the pool table. "I've fucked up again Tony." He leans the pool cue against the table and takes a seat. "What happened?" Franky looks up with tears in her eyes. "It's Gidge...I've been..." Franky begins to sob before she can finish her thoughts. Tony stands up and walks over to her, wrapping her into his big strong arms. "Did you cheat on her?" She leans into him as she wraps her arms around him, shaking her head back and forth as she continues to cry. "Then what could be so bad?" Franky stays silent, focusing on his heartbeat to help her calm down. "Did you..." He struggles to find the right words. "Force her..." Franky stiffens slightly before backing away to look at him. "Once, when I was trying to protect her...but I only threatened it. I never would have followed through." She immediately looks down at the ground between them; suddenly ashamed and embarrassed for not only doing such things but admitting it to him. Tony reaches for her chin, lifting it to look into her eyes. "That was all before; the old you. What has you so worked up now?" Franky takes a deep breath. "I've been using her for sex. I don't love her."
Bridget sits at home, glancing between the television and the clock. She knows Franky had another appointment at six, but it's well past ten now. Whatever has been discussed during these appointments has totally rattled her wife, causing her to become more distant than she has ever been since her second stint at Wentworth. Bridget knows she was concerned about going back to her old ways, using sex for comfort and boredom, but there is now a new development; she freezes up during any type of intimacy. Bridget is brought out of her thoughts by her phone ringing. "Hey Vera. Is everything alright?"

My apologies for yet another delay. This chapter came out nothing like how I had planned over the past two weeks, so I hope it doesn't disappoint too much.
Been quite busy with family affairs since Easter and the stress from work has had me crashing after my shift. My chat with Libby last weekend did give me a bit of a kick in the ass (she asked me about the last two chapters so she'll be caught up, which I didn't tell. Hopefully, she'll read it in it's entirety since I didn't want to give any spoilers)
This is a short work week for me, so fingers crossed I get some more time to write. Anyway...
Franky continues to struggle with her feelings (or lack thereof) for Bridget and ends up back at her old stomping grounds. Bea/Red searches for info on the prison attack and Bridget knows something is up. What advice will Tony give Franky and what is Vera calling so late about?
As usual, comments and feedback are welcome. As always, Stay Safe!
