The next morning, Bridget walks into the kitchen to see Franky pouring a cup of coffee. She can't help but to smile as she walks up to her wife. Franky turns to face her just as Bridget leans in and kisses her lips. "Good morning baby." Franky sets her cup down as Bridget reaches for hers. "I thought we weren't doing this anymore." The blonde blushes as she sets her empty cup down. "You're still my wife and I still love you." Franky blushes before feeling her wife's soft lips against hers. She instinctively moves her arms around the blonde's waist as they kiss again. Bridget pulls away just enough to rest her forehead against the brunette's, gazing into her green eyes. "I missed you this morning." She whispers gently. Franky frowns and tries to pull away, but Bridget tightens her arms around the back of her neck. "You sent me away Gidge." Franky tries to look away, but her wife follows her eyes. "You weren't there for comfort Franky; you know that as well as I do." Franky blushes and tries to pull away, suddenly needing space. Bridget lets her go but watches as she wraps her arms around herself. "Baby, you need to talk to me; if not me, someone. This isn't a good way to be heading into the trial. You know Ferguson will do whatever she can to push your buttons. It'll only get worse."
Franky turns so her back is facing Bridget as a tear slides down her cheek. Bridget walks up and places her hands gently on her wife's shoulders. "What happened yesterday?" Franky reaches for the blonde's hands and wraps her arms around her. Bridget nestles against the side of her neck, placing a soft kiss below her ear. She feels the brunette take in a deep breath, pausing before letting it out. "I had just read the details of what the Freak put Jodie through when Boomer barged into the office. I'm not sure what pissed me off the most, not seeing the signs back then or Boomer barging in without knocking." Franky turns and wraps her arms around Bridget. "And then you walked in, pissed as ever." Franky looks down in shame. "I was so embarrassed and ashamed when I realized I started taking it out on you." Bridget lifts her chin, gently rubbing her thumb against her cheek. "Everyone gets angry Franky. And mistakes like that happen. I was upset because I was trying to get you to take a break. I sent Boomer in. Do you know how that made me feel when you went off on her?" Franky's shoulders sag as another tear slides down her cheek. Bridget pulls her against her and holds her tightly, feeling Franky reach around her to complete their embrace.
Franky buries her face into the crook of Bridget's neck as the tears begin to fall more rapidly. Bridget holds her tighter, slowly rocking them back and forth as she whispers softly in her ear. "It's okay baby. I've got you." They stand there, slowly rocking back and forth, as Bridget comforts her wife; occasionally kissing her neck while rubbing her back with a hand.
The back door slides open causing Bridget to look up slightly, trying not to pull away from Franky. Boomer looks over and sees her friends in a tight embrace, Franky obviously the worse for wear. She picks up on Bridget's slight motions and quietly sneaks through the dining area to the other side of the house, without Franky noticing a thing. Franky backs away enough to wipe her nose with the back of her hand. "I'm sorry Gidge." Bridget takes her face in both hands and gently kisses her. "It's okay baby. I just wish you talked to me before it got to this point." Franky frowns as she still holds her wife's waist between her hands. "After reading about Red...all I wanted to do was fight. Take the bitch down once and for all." She looks deep into Bridget's eyes. "Then..." Bridget nods and pulls Franky against her again. "All you wanted to do was fuck." Franky nods against her neck as she lets out a heavy sigh. "Baby, I can't and won't let you use me like that. It's not healthy. Married or not." Franky let's out a small whimper. "I know." She whispers. Bridget backs away forcing Franky to look into her eyes. "I don't like turning you down baby. Especially last night..." She wipes away the fresh tear that falls from her wife's eye. "But the look in your eyes said it all. You were only looking for..." Franky places a finger over her lips. "Don't. Please." Franky's face is filled with shame. "I never want you to feel that way Bridget. I never want to be that person again." Bridget nods and smiles slightly. "I know baby. I know."
