"So... let me get this straight, you and 'Eden' have known each other since you were children, yes?" Tesla asked as she kicked up her feet onto her desk, looking at (Y/N) who was sitting in front of her.

"Yes, that is true-"

"And yet, Eden is from 50,000 years ago while you met her... six years ago?"

"I-I think that's right...?"

"So you're telling me that you met a girl, presumably from millennia ago, while she was just twelve?"

"P-pretty much..."

"This... wow, this makes absolutely no sense; how could you have possibly talked with someone in the past and influenced their decisions through it? And how was she able to talk with you in the future? Does that even make any sense?" Tesla asked while putting her hand on her face, shaking it rhythmically and in an almost judgmental way.

"D-don't ask me! I don't even know myself..."

"I don't think anybody knows, (Y/N), which just makes this even harder to understand; you both knew each other when you were young and considered each other, in your two separate time periods, to be imaginary, and yet, in reality, you both were real all along. You lived in the woods for nearly four years while she lived in an estate that could eclipse even this base, and you both met; you two are pretty much polar opposites; how in the... gah!" Tesla was clearly frustrated, very much so, and in response, seemed to put her face within the safety of her hands. Yet, her will was quite hard to break, and she would not just leave something as big as this unsolved. "If only we had Planck or Dirac here... I wonder where they even are now..."

"Do you think they could even help? I mean, I know they have bountiful amounts of knowledge about the Sea of Quanta and all that, but do you honestly think that they could explain something like this?"

"I don't know, but I think they could at least shed some light on some of our questions. Not that I can't figure some of them out myself, but I think we'd need someone more experienced to figure out the puzzle that is you and Eden's relationship. Anyways, you can go now. I have some people to meet and some questions to ask others, so go back to your 'childhood friend' or whatever they call it; my head hurts..."

"A-alright, see you later." standing up from his seat and giving it a good swirl, (Y/N) went outside of Tesla's office, walking back towards his room while several questions raced through his mind.

He himself was the most confused of everyone, as he couldn't believe that Eden, most likely fifty thousand years old, was what he regarded as his imaginary friend. Even more so, he couldn't fathom how he had technically talked to someone from the past in the future. It was an odd prospect, and he didn't think it was ever possible. And yet, it was, and he had influenced a girl's future actions even though they never really physically met.
