I'm always more productive at night. Also binge reading or watching hits different when you stay up all night until 4 or 5am in the morning and you already see the morning twilight. You can't tell me otherwise. Also, when it rains then or there's a meteor shower, that's the best that can happen. It's like feeling super safe in the book or show or the studying, being able to really obsess over it in all quirkiness; this feeling that you are all by yourself, having to be quiet to wake nobody up. (When midnight snacks require lots of concentration and good coordination skills, having to manage making tea and shoving cookies or what on a plate in a quite way in the dark) You have the quietness for yourself and you protect it. You do feel kinda crazy for messing up your whole sleep schedule and for ignoring the fact that you'll be a tired, coffee-needing mess in the morning. But it's so worth it. I need such a night once in a while.
