WHO'S YOUR DADDY?..

Dalton slept in the arms of his dad.
Aaron however volunteered to tuck him to sleep.
Mom points out Dalton's room and we watched him carry my son in his arms.
After Aaron left, mom turned and walked away.
Right after giving me a skeptical glare.

Later, Aaron walks out to mom and me seated in the living room.
He says he wanted to leave, mom turns hoping I might volunteer to walk him to his car, however when I pretended not to understand.
She walked him instead.

I saw them talk on their way, Aaron is getting too comfortable with my mom and son.
She walks in later
" Samantha?".
She called.

"What is, it mom?" I turned to face her.

"Seriously, don't you know?".
She replied arrogantly.

I'm sure whatever she has to say, will boil down to the same thing, telling Aaron the truth.

My phone rang.

Mr. Ian called me to come over to his house.
It was past nine. There's no way I can drive in such an ungodly hour, or find a cab.
I tried to explain to Mr. Ian that I wouldn't be able to come, however, he gave me no choice.
I wore my shoes and went to meet him.
I walked into Mr. Ian's huge mansion.
It was so dark. The maids were nowhere found and least I forget, the front gate, had no one securing it.

I picked up my phone to use as a flashlight since everywhere was dark when the light suddenly came on.

I turned and met a friendly face staring at me.

Keith, Mr. Ian's son.
He's back from his studies.

"Hello Samantha,".
Keith brought me close to his arms and squeezed me.
Mr. Ian walks in. He regretted not telling me, since Keith had him put on the show.

I looked at him.
"Did you seriously, make me come over here at the ungodly hour of the day,".
I said, hitting him with my bag.

"What?, I'm sorry okay, but I was dying to see you,".
He grabbed my bag and forcefully dragged me close.

Mr. Ian left us alone to talk.

We went to the garden. He sends for two cups of eggnog and while waiting, we had time to catch up.

Keith has not only been the son of my boss but a friend to me.
Our closeness, made a lot of people believe that he was the father to Dalton.
Dalton is also fond of him. Although the closeness he has with Aaron is much stronger.

Don't tell me...... I know... Blood is thicker than water...
