Break up

So me and my ex just broke up. I've been crying for an hour. Writing is my only escape so here's a short story.

E/n= exs name
"Well then maybe we just are not meant for each other e/n!" I shouted with tears in my eyes.
"You clearly want a normal a girlfriend/boyfriend/significant other/ lover , and I can't give you that!" I added.
"Fine. Is this really the end?" E/n said looking down.
"Yes." I say looking away.
I walked away with tears streaming down my face.
The person I thought was my soulmate isn't, and they just hurt me even more.
I saw Alec standing in front of my locker.
I ran over to him and hugged him.
"Woah! Y/n/n what's wrong?? Are you okay?" He said holding me back.
"N-no, I'm not okay Al." I say crying and letting it all out.
"They left me, they want nothing to do with me, all because I couldn't give them what they want all because I'm asexual (or your sexuality not mine lmao) ." I said again.
"I'm sorry, he's such an ass hole who doesn't deserve you." Alec said pulling me in and holding me close.
I held on to him and cried. My whole world just shattered into a millions of little glass pieces.
"I can't take much more Alec." I said.
"I know but you gotta try. At least for me." He said.
"I'll try." I said.
"Good." He said holding me tighter.
"Can you hold me here for a bit." I asked.
"Sure." Alec said resting his head on mine.
"Break ups suck." I say.
"Yeah they do but there's nothing you can do but pick yourself up." Alec said wiping my tears.
"You're right." I stated.
"Now, are you feeling any better?" He said looking down at me with a smile.
"A little." I said with a weak smile.
"Good." Alec said.
I held onto Alec as I felt him hold me as tight as he could.
"Here's this." I heard E/n say.
"Thanks. But you better get going." Alec said with a cold voice and expression.
E/n walked away.
"You can just throw it away, I never want to see it again." I stated.
"Oh. Alright" Alec said letting go of me and walking over to the trash can.
Alec walked back over to me and leaned against the blue chipped lockers.
His messy brown hair covering a bit of his electric green eyes looking down at me with a soft smile.
"What?" I asked.
"Nothing. You're just beautiful." Alec said.
"Thank you Al." I said smiling.
"Of course."

I don't know who needs to hear this,
But don't ever let a person get you down, chances are they weren't ever your person. There are 8 billion people on this planet, you will find someone better who will treat you much better. Don't lose hope, don't give in. Just know you are beautiful snd can do so many amazing things in life.
