I can't believe I'm a senior (12th grade) in high school now. Time has just flew by so much. Last time I checked I was in 6th grade. Apparently not. I always dread summer break to be honest. I enjoy sleeping in. But that's the only I do. My seasonal depression gets worse. I don't know why, but it always does. Maybe it's because I'm no longer around my people. I don't even know.
I was laying in bed with the black and pink hoodie covering my body. My phone started ringing on and off. I flipped over and grabbed my phone. "Hello?" I said picking it up. "HAPPY FIRST DAY OF SUMMER BREAK!" Alec yelled through the call. "Geez that hurt." I said laughing. "Oops sorry." He said smiling. "Why do you always choose to FaceTime?" I asked. "Simple. You're the only person who picks up." He said. "Okay. True. But I'm also the only one who doesn't have a life outside of my phone." I said laughing. Alec started laughing. "Not gonna lie, I miss school." I said. "Me too, I miss not seeing my best friend every day." He said pouting at the camera. "Well, aren't you sweet."I stated. "Welllll it's the truth." "Alright, we will have to hang soon." I stated. "For sure, we will think of something." He added. "We could always go see a Marvel movie?" I suggested. "Yes, that's what we will do." He said. "Alright it's a plan then." I replied. "Bett, until then I'm still gonna try and become a tiktok all star." He said proudly. "I believe in you then." I said laughing. "You got this." "Thank ya, I will start a trend." He replied. "I'm sure you will."
