I was sitting outside on my porch waiting for Alec to pick me up. We are going to the movies today to see Doctor Strange Multiverse of Madness (I have seen it now, still no spoilers incase someone hasn't seen it -6/23/22) We've been planning this for a while. And now we finally have time.
Just as I was pulled out of my thoughts, I heard a car horn. "Y/N/N COME ON WE DON'T HAVE ALL DAY." He yelled rolling down the window. I walked over and opened the car door. "I didn't know we were so short on time." I said sitting down and shutting the door. "We aren't, I just wanted to mess with you." He said laughing . "You jerk." I said hitting him lightly on his shoulder while laughing. "Alright, alright. let's gooo." He said turning up the volume. Alec was playing a few of his favorite songs and favorite artists.
Then Tate McRae and Sara Kays started playing. We were screaming the lyrics to what's your problem and remember that night. Alec has such an amazing voice. And then there's me.... Can't hit one high note to save my life. And way to many voice cracks.

We walked into the movies theater and bought the tickets. I payed for his ticket and mine. It was my turn anyway. "You excited?" He asked. "Oh my god of course! We watched Wanda vision over FaceTime already soooo." I stated.
"True. I'm hyped too." He stated smiling. We were turning to get popcorn just as I saw him standing there. I felt my heart shatter into a thousand or millions of little pieces. Each piece is like a little shard of broken glass. He had his arm around her waist. She was just as tall as him and had short brown hair. We just broke up not even a month ago. He's already dating someone. This hurts like hell again. I thought I was over him. "Y/n/n" Alec said. "Earth to y/n/n" he said clapping his hands in front of my face. "Alec.." I stated. "Yes?" He asked with a look of concern. "My ex. Over there." I said nodding my head their way. "Oh lord. I'm so sorry y/n" Alec said trying to hug me, but failing miserably. "It's okay. Fuck him so hard." I said crossing my hands. "Yeah I have an idea. Just trust me okay?" Alec said sitting the popcorn on the small table next to the butter and salt. "What's up?" I stated again. "I'm going to put my arm around you as we walk past them." Alec said. I felt my face heat up a bit. "Okay. I'll put my head on your shoulder then." I stated. "Good, we will show them you are better off." Alec said. "True. Alright let's go." I said grabbing a bag of popcorn so Alec didn't hold everything. We walked past them and I felt an arm wrap around my shoulder. I moved my head to sit on his shoulder. I felt myself smile. They were officially out of view and Alec let go. So I moved obviously. "Alright let's go enjoy the movie now." I said walking into the theater. "For sure."
A few hours passed and Alec took me home. I about fell asleep in his car. I pulled out my phone and sent him a text telling him tonight was fun.
