It had been less the a week since you had felt the heartbreak of your boyfriend kicking you out. Unfortunately, your luck didn't just run out there because on your way out you were approached by two men. They offered you a place to stay which you obviously rejected, however.. they weren't asking. Forcefully they yanked you into their establishment shoving you to the ground. You gazed up at them confusion filling your eyes as they towered above you.
"You know Jake Lockley?" Realization struck at that question, Jake was a damn fool for doing this to you. The man yanked you up by your collar frustrated that you hadn't already answered him.
"Do you know Jake Lockley?" Instantly you put up your toughest exterior, Jake may have been dumb for leaving you out on the opene like this, but he knew better than to not teach you a few of his move.
"Who's asking?" You questioned with a somewhat cocky smile. This made the men laugh, which in turn made you nervous. The men shared looks amongst themselves before dragging you into a room. They slammed the metal door before you could even manage to get out. There laid a sliding window in which the peered at you.
"We're gonna give your boyfriend a little call. Then we'll have a little fun." You had to find a way out, although calling Jake is really their first mistake. You were surprised Jake hadn't killed them the first time, they had obvious marks on their faces from him. Perhaps he wouldn't care, it was possible he wouldn't come. Your last interaction was the best, he was breaking up with you so. Either way, you needed to find a way out of here, you peered around at your whereabouts. There you stood in a reinforced room with a singular chair in the middle. A singular-- blood stained chair. Your stomach churned with possibilities, what it Jake was telling the truth what if he wouldn't come for you. All of the outcomes made your head spin, you worried for your future, but right now you needed to worry about your present. The door was shoved open slowly and a large man came in, by the looks of it he was the leader of whoever these people were. You prepared yourself for whatever was about to happen. Calmly the man held a phone out, you recognized the number they were calling and took it from his hands.
"Hello-?" You questioned nervously, silence sat on the other side for a while before a loud:
"FUCK--" Which startled you to say the least, the voice over the phone was angry there was no denying it.
"Did they hurt you-?" He questioned calmly trying to gage the situation.
"They threw me down, scraped me up a little but other then that I'm fine." You heard a crash on the other end. Silence erupted from the other side again, and you could practically hear his smile.
        "Tell them," he paused
"Tell them, if they lay one fucking finger on you. I'll kill them." You shifted your eyes up to the large man standing in front of you who grabbed the phone hanging up.
"So?" He questioned smirking at you as two men encroached on your space. Harshly they grabbed you and shoved you into the bloodied chair tying your limbs to it.
"He said he's gonna kill you." The man chuckled cracking his knuckles with an unsettling smile. He bashed a fist into your face causing a pounding sensation to occur. You felt blood trickle from your nose, the pain made you wanna vomit.
"Tell me about him. Was a good lover?" The man questioned causing a smile to wash over your face.
"I don't think you're his type." Another fist flew into your face at the remark more fluids falling from your face. You took a moment to catch your breath, you had never been hit like this before, at least not this hard. The man grabbed your face harshly, glaring down at you with a scowl.
           "I don't appreciate your attitude."
"I don't appreciate being beaten by a forty year old man who's balding." You spat with the same scowl he gave you, this earned you another hit. Which added another reason for Jake to absolutely obliterate this man. What you weren't expecting was him to bring out cutlery. Arriving on a cart was an array of sharp tools used to slicing.
"Oh, you don't like sharp objects? I find them quite intriguing."
"If you kill me, you'll all die." The mans face dropped at this remark.
"Let's be honest. He'll kill us either way." The color must have drained from your face because the man let out a chuckle holding his stomach. As if you had told the funniest joke in the world the room erupted with laughter. Once it settled the mans hand landed on a large knife. He held it up to your face with a large smile, luckily the slicing process with stopped by a sharp knock on the door.
"It seems our guest has arrived." Relief filled your body so fast you almost started to sob on the spot. The group of men left closing the door behind them, leaving you quite literally in the dark. Tears filled your eyes and trickled down your face stinging all of the cuts and bruises. From inside of the room you heard men shouting and every once in a while gunshots. Then silence, everything was so quiet, too quiet. Fear overwhelmed your body strapping it to the chair more the the restraints ever could. The large door was shoved open and there in the doorway he stood. Your literal hero, he walked to you covered in blood and untied you before softly running his hands along your face. Worry laced his face as he gazed at you, oh how he wanted his lips to meet yours. Now wasn't the time. The two of you stood up and encapsulated each other in hugs. Little did you know this joy would only last for a few seconds. On your way out of the establishment you stopped to grab your things, at least a few of them.
"Cariño, please none of that shit matters. I'll buy you anything you want, we need to go."
"Some of this stuff you can't buy, I just need one thing please." Jake turned away not wanting to leave you but wanting to check for more people. He peered out the door to find no one, but when he looked back he found you. Not only you, a man behind you holding a knife. You looked forward at Jake smiling through your swollen face at you and holding the matching necklace he had gifted you one year on your birthday. It was your prized possession and that made it all the more heartbreaking. You felt a sharp pain through your back and into your stomach. Looking forward at Jake you clutched the necklace gasping for air. You peered down to find a knife placed cleanly through your stomach. This was the end.
