They have a nightmare
Marc Spector
○ It was a late night, you had just come home from work to find Marc peacefully sleeping on your shared bed. You walked over placing a kiss on his forehead with a smile before putting your things up and changing. As you did your night time routine you heard a voice, or maybe even a pair of voices. You listened in trying to decipher the words being exchanged assuming it was your neighbors. Out of the corner of your eye you saw Marc shoot up out of his sleep. He ran his hands along his face and body frantically, breathing heavily and looking around the try and gain his composure. The next thing he looked for was you, quickly spotting you in the bathroom. He got out of bed shoving the blankets off of himself in a panic. Stumbling slightly he made his way to you immediately cupping your face, tears on the brink of spilling from his eyes.
"You're ok?! You're ok!" He whispered his voice hoarse, your eyes widened with concern as you softly moved his hands from your face.
"I'm ok. Marc, I'm ok." Was all you whispered back now placing your hands on his face and wiping the stray teats that fell. He yanked you into a hug placing his face in the crease of your neck letting sobs fill his throat.
"It seemed so real, I thought I lost you." You wrapped your arms around his neck stroking your hands through his hair. Softly he picked you up carrying you to your bed and placing you down. He laid on top of you his head lay on your chest as you wiped the tears that fell from his eyes.
"I'm here. You can't get rid of me that easily."Steven Grant
● You laid in bed on your computer, it was late but you had work you needed to finish. Steven laid close beside you his arm wrapped loosely around your torso. As you typed away he began to whimper in his sleep, which wasn't unusual so you didn't think much about it. Until, the tears, tears started to pour down his face as his grip around you tightened. Slowly you moved your laptop off of you stroking the hair from his eyes. You knew you probably shouldn't have tried to wake him up, but you couldn't stand to see him like that.
"Dearest?" You questioned followed by: "Steven?" He jolted awake completely our of breath. His grip around you still tight as he gazed up at you.
"Are you alright?" You questioned stroking the hair from his forehead before moving it down to cup his cheek. He shook his head sitting up to look around, running a hand through his now sweat drenched hair.
"It was just a dream." Was the only thing he muttered before turning to face you with a tired smile. He placed a soft hand on your face stroking your cheek with his thumb.
"It was just a dream."Jake Lockley
■ You were asleep, in the strong arms of your boyfriend. It was peaceful so very peaceful, until you woke up extremely thirsty. So, like any normal person you got up and walked to the kitchen grabbing a glass before filling it with water. You stood on the kitchen for a moment practically chugging the glass of water you just poured before filling it again. In the distance you heard footsteps and assume Jake was going to the bathroom or something. Until you felt a pair of arms around you waist, this of course startled you slightly but you calmed once you realized they belonged to him. You tried turning to face him but to no avail his grip on you was tight. Not tight enough to hurt but definitely tight enough to keep you on one place. You began to panic, was someone inside the house? No they'd be dead as soon as he laid eyes on them.
"Jake..?" You questioned to which he shifted and buried his face in the crease of your neck with a small sigh.
"Did something happen?" You tried to turn again but he wouldn't let you.
"Please, I can't help you if you don't talk to me." He let out another sigh grumbling slightly as he loosened his grip. You turned and although it was dark you could see his expression. It was tired, of course, but it was obvious he had or was about to cry.
"What happened?" He shook his head biting his tongue trying to hold back tears.
"Its stupid, don't worry about it." He stated sharply grabbing you wrist to try and pull you to bed. You followed but didn't drop the conversation.
"Its not stupid. Talk to me." He stopped turning his gaze to you.
"I had a nightmare.. that you left me. I wasn't treating you right, or maybe you found someone better." He turned away from you continuing towards you shared bed.
"There's no one better then you."Layla El-Faouly
◇ You couldn't sleep, it was an issue you always had, however Layla could pass out anywhere. The two of you laid on the couch, she laid on your chest as you held her. Flicking through the channels on the T.V you finally landed on something when she jolted awake. Pushing to get away from you she sat up moving her hair from her face. You gained a confused expression leaning to try and get her attention.
"Dear?" You questioned reaching for her hand, she whipped her head towards you. Her expression immediately softening upon seeing you.
"Everything ok?" She lunged forward pulling you into a hug. Still confused you hugged back stroking her hair softly.
"Was it about your dad?" You questioned continuing to stroke her hair. Soft whimpers filled the air as she nodded at your concern. You pulled out of the hug wiping her tears away with your thumb.
"You wanna talk about it?" She shook her head keeping her eyes on you.
"I just want you to hold me." You nodded pulling her close and resting your head on hers. Eventually you both fell asleep peacefully.
