The fairy war was over a month ago now but queen Mariana and princess Melanie were more vigilant than ever. Melanie formed a squadron with the princesses and princes of the other elemental fairy kingdoms. They were being trained by her mother and Sargent Gypsy on combat. Queen Mariana was currently teaching her how to spot strange fairy dust activity all over the mystic side of Magix and even on earth. They knew there were also mystics and supernaturals on earth. Although going beyond that border was strictly against the law.
"Pay close attention, there has been a strange exchange of fairy dust in different areas of the mystic side" Queen Mariana said
"Hey i see something" Princess Melanie said looking at the maps of the different realms
"Where?" Mariana asked
"Here" Melanie replied signal the map of earth
"On earth, interesting. I know that a few mystics are living on earth. They can be spotted on the map for their fairy dust but it's very rare. Another way to know if a fairy is using magic is by their magical energy. Mystic energy is yellow while supernatural energy is blue. Plus, the obvious one is black to spot a shadow creature" Mariana said
Melanie gasped still looking at the map which pointed a tiny yellow dot but with something else Melanie couldn't make out, it was somewhere in Europe "How could I not know this?" She said
"What?" Her mother asks
"I know who this dot is and heck he's got some explaining to do" With that being said Melanie disappeared out of nowhere.
"I hate it when she does that" Mariana muttered
The man was in a hotel room getting ready to go out to lunch with friends. This was
located in London England. He had been through a rough time and was looking to put it all behind him.
A sudden breeze caught his attention "Hello there Johnny Depp" a young voice said "Or should I say John Despero"
Johnny gasped a bit but quickly regained his posture "Melanie, princess of the mystics. I won't say it's a pleasure to meet you as I presume you're not here for a good reason your majesty"
Melanie's eyes widen "You know who I am? I just know you in the magical world by name" She said surprised "Never mind that, I came here because my mother and I detected fairy dust on this very spot and it wasn't for a helpful use"
"Oh I'm not a fairy your majesty" he said
"You're not?" She asked then raised her hand and said "Accio" a minute later, a bag popped from Johnny's pocket and into her hand.
"You know, that word doesn't mean anything in the real wizarding world" Johnny said with a sadistic giggle
"I know, It's just fun to say. How would you know that though?" Melanie said
"Because I'm a wizard, princess Melanie" Johnny replied
"That would explain why I was greeted so rudely. And to think I'm part of your human fandom. Are you part of the "I hate fairies" committee??" Melanie said
"No, i don't hate fairies but I don't like you either. Let's just say I tolerate you enough to be in the same room as you" he said
"Right, because since you're clean of human drugs, you get yourself high on fairy dust" Melanie said
"It calms me down" Johnny shrugged
"It's still not good for you so I'm gonna confiscate your supply" Melanie said, raised her arm and with a flick of her finger she popped 5 more bags.
There was a knock on the door "Johnny, let's go" someone called on the other side
"Give me a minute!!" Johnny exclaimed, he certainly didn't look happy "Get out"
"Look, someone or something is getting fairy dust out of the mystic side illegally. I have a hunch that it's being transported to the supernaturals side. I only know one witch that can maybe help. She can't do it alone so please help her" Melanie said
"What makes you think I can help?" Johnny asked
"Because from what I've heard, you're the best shapeshifter in the supernatural realm" Melanie remarked "And for what I can tell, that has helped your acting career"
"I make no promises on helping but who do you say I can help?" Johnny
"I believe you two are related, Meryl Streep or well, Mary Louise Despero" Melanie said then disappeared, leaving a surprised Johnny standing in the room.
Mary Louise sat in the study of her home in Pasadena reading a book. Her daughters were in the living room watching tv with their children. Alongside her was one of her dogs, this particular rottweiler was her familiar. He had his eyes fixed on a "decorative" crystal ball on the shelf, said ball was glowing.
He barked getting his masters attention "What is it Barnaby?" she said looking at the same direction
Meryl ran to the glowing ball, petting Barnaby on the way, and grabbed it "Hi Meryl" said the young princess as soon as she appeared in the crystal.
"Princess" she greeted "I thought we agreed that the crystal ball was only for emergencies"
"I know, this is an emergency. Fairy dust is being transported illegally out of the mystic realm. Me and my squad tracked it to the border. Since fairies can't go beyond the border, I need your help to find out what's going on" Melanie said
"Does Cher know what's going on? She can talk to princess Luna" Meryl said
"Mother tried but she said they can't interfere unless one of the realms come close to an end like last time" Melanie explained rolling her eyes
"How can I help? I mean I'll talk to the white coven but there's only so much they can do" Meryl said
"Relax, the other set of hands will go see you tomorrow morning. Bye" without giving Meryl a chance to speak, the princess disappeared. Meryl sighed and went back to her seat to read her book
