Mary approached Barnaby worried. She knew if her familiar had gone to her, something was wrong. There was a note attached to his collar.

Meryl,

Your house was attacked by some warlocks and dark witches. The ones in the house were Don, Louisa and Grace. Don't worry, they're alright but a bit shaken and confused. Don and Louisa thought it was an earthquake but Grace thought something felt weird so she asked her dad to call me like you said. They didn't see the attackers so they didn't witness any magic. Once Don called me, I took care of them before i entered the house. I had to bring them home with me, moms orders. She thought they weren't safe at home for a while. Mom says that it's your decision to tell them about magic and about you.

Mary groaned in annoyance, now she was gonna have to deal with Cher. She couldn't go back, tomorrow she was going to one of the other towns. The least Mary could do was call her.

She looked at her familiar "Thanks boy, go back to them and keep them safe" she said, he suddenly gave a low bark "I'll call on you if I need you, I promise" with that, he passed through the bookshelf portal to take him back.

"Is everything alright?" Astoria asked

"My family was attacked, they're alright but shaken and confused. I have Warleen, the goddess of war looking after them. I'm guessing Marietta knows I'm onto her" Mary said

"She's taking it way too personally" Delilah said

"Tell me about it, first Malek threatened my two youngest daughters in the war and now Marietta is targeting half my family" Mary said

"He did what??!!!" Cassandra exclaimed

Mary nodded "He kidnapped them, brought them here to the wind mystic kingdom and asked me for a trade. Them in exchange for Warleen" she explained

"So your daughters have known about magic?" Astoria asked

Mary shook her head "No, we'll kind of, the goddesses erased their memories at the end of the war"

"So what are you going to do?" Asked Delilah

Mary sighed "I have no idea"

"For now you should focus on contacting Warleen and then come see me after you're done so we can discuss it" Astoria said

Mary nodded, she went to her room and took out her mini crystal ball. She uses it to communicate when she's traveling. After whispering Warleen's name, the woman's face appeared

"I'm going to kill you Mary Louise" she said annoyed

"Hi Cher" Mary sarcastically

"Two of your daughters are a nervous wreck and Don is pissed because Elijah let it slip that what they experienced wasn't an earthquake" Cher said

"What??!!!" Mary screamed wide eyed "What did he tell them?"

"He said it was an attempt breaking and entering and now your husband is demanding answers" Cher growled "Why didn't you tell me you were going to Magix?"

"Hey don't you growl at me, I didn't tell you because I didn't know this was going to happen" Mary said rolling her eyes

"What do I tell them?" Cher asked
