I went back home that night at around 8:00, I would've spent the night at Maddie's but then there was my irresponsible mother and my innocent little sister, plus Maddie was going to drop off Jason to so I took a ride with them.
The next day at school I was extremely tired because I was basically up all night thinking of different ways to bring it up to Josh.
I decided to let the chips fall as they may, and see what happens.

The bell rung and I headed to class. I noticed Gaby, but didn't say hi or wave to her. Why am I being so stubborn around her? What did she ever do to me? I think to myself.
Anyway she didn't notice. She'd been talking to Josh. He looked over and smiled at me. Smiled. How could he smile at me after what happened yesterday and expect me to even glance at him? Then, he goes ahead and talks to his girlfriend and hugs her and kisses her as if their relationship is so perfect.
Gaby and Josh both sat down at their seats next to me. "You okay, Mika?" Gaby asked me, her voice sounded a bit worried. "I'm fine." I managed to get out, and rather harshly as a matter of fact. "Oh. Well, if something is wrong, you can talk to me about it." She said with a small smile.
I can't tell you this one, Gaby.

The time for my confrontation had come. It was seventh period and Mr. Bob had only given us a simple "Get To Know Someone" worksheet, he probably wasn't even going to grade it.
There he was, sitting calmly in his seat next to me on his phone as a normal teenager would be. "Um, Josh?" He looked up from his phone and stared at me.
I tried to make my face as serious as I could, "What was that about? You know...yesterday." He passed a hand through his deep black hair, leaned back in his seat and let out a big sigh. "I don't know what to tell you."
I got mad. No, I got furious. "What do you mean you 'don't know what to tell me'? You're the one that-" I stopped myself before I could've said the last two words, last thing I needed to do was talk to loud and have someone go tell Gaby about this.
"You know what?" I told him firmly. He just looked me with his hazel eyes, "What?" I glared at him, still angry "Meet me at the library after school."
"Since this is last period, why don't you just take a ride with me there?" I groaned at the thought of that, and plus, what if someone saw us? Why is he asking so casually as if he isn't even in a relationship right now? I couldn't take that chance. "No thanks, I'll get myself there, thanks." His eyes were wide now at my rejection toward him. "Uh, okay." Was all he said.
It's six now. I'd gotten a ride from Maddie again and told her this was where I was going to ask him about everything, instead of at school where someone could overhear us.
Josh walked in and scanned around before he saw me sitting at a table reading a book. He took the seat across from me at the wooden table, "Well, I'm here." I closed my book and glared at him, "Now tell me why." He looked confused, "Why what?"
How could someone possibly be this stupid? He knows exactly what.
I wanted to yell, but since were in a library I whispered as loud as I could. "Why are you acting so dumb? You know exactly what." He raised an eyebrow now looking a bit amused "Refresh my memory, will you."
I took a deep breath and replied, feeling tired of him, "Why did you...kiss...me" I murmured.
He just shrugged, "What's the big deal? It's just a kiss."
By now, all Hell had broken out of me. I got up and slammed my hand on the table, really trying to hold myself back from screaming and closed my eyes.
Instead, I spoke a bit quieter than how I was before and opened my eyes, "It may have been just some other meaningless kiss to you," I lifted my hand and turned around "but it was my first one."
