In the early 20th century John Smith attended Eastwood High School in Chicago. Being no trouble and maintained getting good grades. The only thing about him is he always hung around the wrong crowd and stayed out late past his curfews. John grew up in the busiest city out in Chicago, which they were very wealthy. Chicago where there lived also had so many latino gangs. His mom, Stacy is a traveling nurse and his dad Rodney, own over 5 car lots throughout Chicago. The past couple of months his parents started to worry about his behavior and tried pursuing help, but things became worst. John's parents' were getting daily calls for him skipping school and weekly parent conferences because his failing grades. The last semester of school has ended and the summer came and John had to go to summer school . John barely went there, which then he started staying out even later, more frequently. John recently meet this girl name Alisha, a girl that was in most of his class which they started dating last week. Alisha gave a good impression the first couple times coming over to the house for dinner or to spend the night. Weeks went by and John parents' felt worried and possibly a bit scared became they felt Alisha wasn't for him. The visits stopped and John just would leave with Alisha and never come back until later that night. Until one Saturday afternoon his parents questioned him of his behavior which we had no reason behind it. The whole week went by and heres Friday night John's parents waited in the living room until he came in. Its 2:30am and John is just now walking through the door with a whiff of marijuana that scented his clothes and with a lack of balance as he attempted to walk up the stairs.  Rodney asked , "Where have you been John ?" His mom sat there looking worried . John stuttered, "I -I-I was just with A-L-L-ISHA , we was at a party." John proceeded to walk upstairs into his room. "Have you been drinking or smoking John," his mom said with disappointment walking up the stairs with Rodney behind him. John replied in a suspicious tone, "No mom!" His parents dropped their heads in disbelief and went to their room soon after going to sleep. Early Saturday morning, bleach was getting poured, clothes were getting washed, & music filled throughout the house while everybody cleaned. Stacy walked into her sons room to get his laundry. She just so happen to oversee the rapid motions of him pushing something under the bed which his mom thought to be just a shoe box where he kept his money. John looked up in shocked, "Hi mom."  Stacy replied angrily, "what is you doing son ?" "What is that?" He sat back onto his bed distracting his mom from the questions that were being asked. "Its nothing mom" John replied in a joking manner. His mom walked over to the side of his bed and he attempted to walk out of the room with his laundry, "Here mom, lets go do laundry ." John tired so hard disregarding the situation that is going on and possibly a bigger problem. Rodney then walked into the room, "Whats going on here, i heard commotion." "Where are you going son stopping John in his tracks, come here !" His mom pulled the box from under the bed and opened it to find a scale, money, a gun, weed, a spoon filled with dust as if he been crushing pills, and then a empty pill bottle kicked underneath the bed with the labeled torn off ! His parents were astonished and looked at each other then they both looked at John . "WHERE HAVE ALL THIS SHIT COME FROM SON??!!" His  parents yelled! It became at 21 question session by all the questions that were being asked, but they kept being asked. John just stood there with no explanation on the shit that his parents just saw. They both was really in disbelief and still stunned by Johns' actions. Both his mom and dad sat at the foot of his bed and advised him "Son i know our work schedules are a bit crazy but whomever your friends are thats influencing you into doing this bad behavior this is something that's unacceptable." "We don't want to lose our only son to some drug affiliated bullshit or one these boys you call your damn "homeboy." John replied, "Okay mom and dad" just nodding his head not really interested in what was being said. They then just walked out and took the box with them down stairs. They both leaned over the island in the kitchen scratching their heads asking each other "what could we do?" "I think our son may be in a gang honey, Stacy said. A few weeks went by and he tightened up but then he fell back off track and became very disobedient and started lying. On top of his parents busy work weeks they tired boot camps, counseling, boarding school and much more to help out with John behavior. Depression and stress sat in after continuous appointments being missed or John not cooperating. At this point his parents became fed up and wanted him just to learn on his own even though they wanted nun but the best for him. Trying to look after who John left with even became very overwhelming, cause the cars he left in was always different plus Alisha seemed not to be the only person he left with. Fair season had just started about 2 weeks go. John claimed for a week straight that was his whereabouts. His mom really became concerned cause every time he would come home it was something different about him whether he had different clothes on, he wasn't getting dropped off directly in the front of the house, or John would be looking around all suspicious clutching a book bag. They payed attention closely, but still no signs of anything major so they thought nothing of it. Since the summer had started it already have been 4 homicides close in the area where they lived and all of them was a senseless shooting. That alone worried Johns' parents the most cause they were all boys no older then 20.  It went from him not coming home until the next day to him not coming home after 2 days. Both his parents stressed to him everyday, "Son if you not going to come home PLEASE LET US KNOW!" Seemed John ignored once more something they said cause he never did it and his excuse was "I forget" or "my phone was going dead." Dealing with John lying constantly all the time and his negative behavior stressed his parents out more and more each day and worried them because they felt they failed as parents but they just had faith and prayed about the situation. This very evening John left from the house 4 p.m. dressed in all black and a hoodie that was never seen before. It was very sweet but it rarely happened so it stunned his parents . He hugged and kissed his mom, and dapped his dad up and hugged and kissed him too. "I love you guys , see you guys maybe in a few days" His parents then felt at ease and replied, "i love you too son, make sure you call us this time." Speeding out the door running he yelled, "Okay." Stacy and Rodney kicked their feet back and waited and waited on his phone call yet they still haven't received, well of course they have been let down again. Rodney had cooked so they sat and ate watching they favorite show "Power" still no call. Rodney called him and Stacy called him and vice verses, the phone rung literally off the hook. Alisha called, "Mrs.Stacy have you talked to John?" Stacy answered, "No we been calling him all day no answer lets us know if you do." Alight **Click**All texts showed delivered but no reply. Its 10pm and they still haven't heard anything, they just laid down and fell asleep hoping he would call a little while after. *Pow, Pow, Pow* was the faded sounds of nearby gun shot that was heard but seemed to just be part of their dreams. They snored and tossed and turned and still stayed sound asleep. There was a faded sound of the phone ringing . The call is picked up, "Mrs.Smith your son has been avoid in a tragic shooting to the head " the operator calmly said. 5 minutes to get to the scene a blurred vision of who could be John laid on the ground looking up into his moms eyes with his arm stretched  out trying to grab her hand. "Sorry mom i should've listened when i had the chance i love you," as he searched for breath. Immediately after a white blank covered his face as his eyes shut and his breath was taken away with his voice fading still saying mom , "I love you "......
