Rick and everyone left fairly early in the morning for their flight and of course it wasn't all easy with Riley cranky as normal and Rick also needed to make sure Lesley was alright with her usual struggle. After about 3 hours on the flight, Lesley and the kids waited for Rick to get the rental before they headed for the mountain side and later they were gonna find a place for a bite to eat.
" Hard to believe that the girls are gonna be 11 years old. Sometimes it seems like just yesterday we brought them home for the first time."
" I don't think I can believe it either, sometimes Les. They're starting to grow up." Rick wrapped his arm around her waist.
" Sometimes I still feel like Lyle and Lorelei are waiting to see the world.... Rick, I miss our twins so much." Lesley clung and hugged Rick.
" I know you do, Sweetheart. I miss them too but I also know that I am happier than I ever could be. Lesley you are a wonderful mother... that will never change." Rick kissed Lesley.
Settling into the cabin on the mountainside, Rick made sure Lesley's medical stuff was set incase of anything and later helped her set up Riley's dinosaur tent truck bed that they got him for Christmas and later for his first birthday.
" Look at you big guy... you got your own tent and everything...." Rick sat down beside Lesley on the couch.
" Hard to believe he'll be 3. We really have come a long way haven't we?" Lesley commented while scooting into Rick more.
" Yes we have... You have more than all of us. And I am very proud that I have you by my side Lesley. Without having you here, I honestly think I would be lost."
" I think that makes 2 of us..." Lesley looked up to kiss Rick and later she was asleep on the couch
Rick carried Lesley up to bed after everyone else was asleep and he later went to sleep himself. Before he went to sleep, he thought to himself " For once I don't have to worry about her" Rick gave Lesley a kiss and went to sleep for the night.

Early the next morning Rick got up to make breakfast as well as he attended and made sure Riley had his morning breakfast before Lesley had gotten up
" Here bud...." Rick set Riley's little teddy bear plate while he sat down next to him at the table with a cup of coffee and a couple of eggs and sausage.
Getting up alittle while later Lesley made sure to take her medication before she went to join Rick in the kitchen so she was able to get something to eat while the girls were still asleep
" Well this is my favorite thing to see in the morning..." Lesley gave Rick a kiss and did the same with Riley.
" Morning Sweetheart, how'd you sleep?" Rick asked.
" I slept okay... Especially because I have you with me."
" Unless I were to lose you or you were to lose me that will never change." Rick kissed Lesley.
" Hard to believe that 11 years ago I was home trying to relax after you were called for an emergency surgery and later at night the girls were showing their determined and stubborn side as they decided they wanted to join into the world alittle earlier than scheduled."
" I thank God that you made it through that night." Rick pointed out
" I would have anyway Rick because I had you by my side.. if you hadn't gotten home Genesis and I would have died."
" And that proves the point that I always think about when their birthday comes along. I should have taken you with me to the hospital where you would've been fine incase Dana had to take the twins by section. If I had you wouldn't have almost died in my arms from almost bleeding out."
