Lesley had woken up but quickly started to feel like something was wrong as she saw that someone who looked like her attending nurse that was in the room but couldn't see that the supposed attending had tampered with her IV where Lesley started to have trouble with her vision and she quickly started to feel like she couldn't breathe.
" Lesley might be waiting on me... Steve I'll let you know if we need anything" Rick said
Rick headed back to spend some time with Lesley while he had a chance but sensed that something was really wrong when he saw someone leave her room that he didn't recognize.
" Steve get Monica on standby now.... Lesley!...." Rick ran into her room as fast as he could as she started gasping to try to breathe
" R-Rick please..... Som-somethings wrong... The IV... I.. I ca-can't bre..." Lesley tried to cling to Rick with fear
" Sweetheart I'm right here... Everythings gonna be okay..." Rick replied but ran for help when Lesley went limp and suddenly coded
" Lesley! Don't do this, don't you leave me" Rick called out when Steve and Martinson ran into her room " Rick you need to step outside..."
Rick stepped out but refused to go anywhere because of what's going on the fear that something was gonna happen to Lesley threatened Rick to go crazy when just alittle while ago she was fine and now the more that Rick thought about it the woman he saw leaving Lesley's room he knew she had something to do with it
" Georgia, which nurses are assigned for this floor....?" Rick asked quick
" Here's the board, why what's wrong?" Georgia replied
" I'll explain later. Has anyone been assigned other than you or Bobbi to Lesley's care?"
" No, not that I can think of...." Georgia answered right away
" Call head of security right now I want Lesley guarded at all times until I get to the bottom of all of this... And I am to be notified of who comes and goes other than the doctors and Steve that have been on her care." Rick stated.
" Another round of Epi stat" Martinson said while continuing CPR after he intubated
" Epi's in doctor!"
After another 45 minutes Steve and Martinson were able to resuscitate Lesley but agreed that her vitals were still too unstable where they couldn't get her blood pressure and her heart rate to stabilize.
" We were lucky Steve but we're not out of the woods not by a long shot..." Martinson turned towards the nurse " I want theses labs back ASAP and have Dr. Quartermaine paged stat" Martinson requested
" Yes Doctor" nurse left the room
" We have to move Lesley to the CICU. She will need to be watched every second with the arrhythmia...." Martinson said
" I agree Earl her vitals are very low and her BP has dropped all of the sudden.." Steve agreed
" Steve! I'm sorry to get in the way, but somebody posing here in the hospital is what's going on with Lesley. I think somebody tried again to go after her and they posed as an attending to do it.." Rick called out
" What do you mean Rick?" Steve replied
" I got off the phone with Ruby and checked on the kids and after that I turned to head back here for Lesley after you and I spoke briefly... I saw a woman coming out of here... I don't know exactly what went on but Lesley was scared and she clung to me and was trying to beg me not to leave her... That's when she suddenly coded and went into cardiac arrest." Rick explained
