Ascension

Ascension a map that takes place around a space station. You play as ultimus and ascension brings a bit of new things to zombies such as two new perks because double tap does not appear on this map. Stamn-up is the first new perk that cost 2000 points it makes you run faster and sprint duration longer. The second perk is one of the most famous and favorite perks known as PHD flopper which cost 4000 points it makes you immune to your own explosives and fall damage. If you were to dolphin dive off of a high place (sprint and press whichever button you have to crouch while sprinting) you can make an explosion around you. The map also gives us two new tactical like weapons one being a gersh devise. A device that summons a black hole and sucks the zombies into it and the matryoshka dolls which take the idea of monkey bombs but makes it more than one explosion. There is also a new enemy type known as the space monkeys that replace the hellhound rounds. The space monkeys will appear and instead of going for you they will go for your perk machines and will take your perk away from you in which you have to rebuy it. If you kill all the monkeys without them taking away any of your perks a new power up will show up. A bottle which when grabbed will give you a random perk which makes ascension the first map that allows the player to get more than 4 perks. Ascension is also the first map to have a main Easter egg or in this sense a main quest that progresses the story. The next map takes us to a very cold place. Call of the dead.
