I'm back, been putting this off for a bit but I'm back to actually finish bo4 hopefully. The second map released is called nine or IX. Chaos find themselves drinking a mysterious liquid that makes them begin to dream and hallucinate an arena where they are in armor and clothing appropriate for times back in Greek times. The map is small and simple you spawn in the main hub and the map is split off into 4 temple looking places which are represented by Ra, danu, Odin, and Zeus. The map brings something new. The trials where you can choose a god or goddess from the four and when you do you will be tasked with doing challenges on this map you have nine challenges to complete and you are rewarded with packed weapons, points, power ups or even an extra perk. In each temple there is a gong you can ring and an enemy will come down and you have to kill and get the head of. The map brings 3 new enemies to the game. The first is the zombie tigers which take the place of the ammo rounds, the marauders are big zombies covered in armor and have these wrist blade like things which they will lunge at you and start swinging like crazy, the destroyers are big zombies covered in heavy armor and wield two axes which they will throw at you. The map gives us a new wonder weapon called the death of Orion which looks like a scorpion chained down to something ( I don't know what tbh.) it is covered in rune like symbols and will shoot an electric type bolt which stuns and sends zombies into the air damaging them. The boss of the map is a zombified elephant and the map ends with the four being executed. The next map is the first dlc for the game and one of the most underrated and overhated maps for this game if I'm honest.
Dead of the night.
