Before we fly off the handle I have to talk about the new features because as this is a new game there is a new system of things and there is a lot you can see even before you begin the game so first off you can bring any weapon you want (except wonder weapons) into the game like melee weapons, rocket launchers or a nail gun if you want each weapon has 55 levels which you can do just by using them in the game the more you level up the guns you can put attachments on them though not all of them. The game introduces the tier system which when you load into the game with your load out you have a tier zero or red tier weapon however you can upgrade them to higher tiers using salvage and high grade salvage which we will talk about in a sec. It takes 500 salvage to get to green tier, 1000 salvage to get to blue tier, 500 high grade salvage to get to purple tier and 1000 high grade salvage to get to orange tier. You can spin the box and can get different weapons with different and as you get to higher rounds the more likely you'll get higher tier weapons however the wonder weapons for the maps instantly are at the orange tier. The maps for the first time are free however there is a battlepass system which allows you to get calling cards, emblems, new weapons and blueprints for your weapons. You can also choose a field upgrade in your loadout which you can choose one of the 8. Frost blast creates a blast of wind that kills and slows down zombies, energy mine causes an explosion of pure energy that detonated when zombies get close, aether shroud hides you from zombies for a short duration of time, healing aura which heals you and your Allie's to full health, ring of fire which creates a ring of this pink flame that kills zombies and boost your weapons damage for a short duration of time, frenzied guard which slows down all enemies and causes all enemies to target only you and your armor takes the damage, toxic growth which summons a dead bush full of thorns which will damage and slow down zombies, and finally Tesla storm which lightning connect to all players and damages and stuns enemies for a short duration. The game also allows you to upgrade your weapon classes which allows them to have more attachment slots, do more damage or for some classes like the knife you will heal health when you kill a zombie with a melee attack. There is also perks and ammo mods. The game brings 5 tiers to these skills which can be gained by just playing the maps you will get crystals Which can be used to upgrade your skills and make them better and stronger. The game introduces the exfil system which every 5 rounds after round 10 you can radio in a chopper to pick you up however you have to get to the LZ and kill a bunch of zombies in a limited time you'll get bonus XP for exfilling. Now that we got all of that out of the way trailer for the map begins with a now adult Samantha maxis walking to a phone booth and calling an old friend. Weaver which we found out they are on a team known as requiem and are trying to stop a group called omega from getting something from the dark aether which omega does access the dark aether bringing the undead to our world and we must deal with the problems. We are not given a set crew to play with but operator's you can choose from. When you load into the map we are introduced to carver, dr. Grey and doctor Strauss accompanied by weaver. The map gives us a new point system which when you kill a zombie you get 95 points and when you get a Crit kill you get 115 points. A new perk system is also introduced the first perk you buy cost 2500 points and very perk after that cost 500 more points then the previous perk you bought so the second perk would would 3000 points and the third would be 3500 points. Speaking of perks quick revive, juggernog, speed cola, stamin up, deadshot make their return being as good as ever and a new perk called elemental pop which when killing zombies a ammo mod effect may happen and when upgraded to higher tiers when you reload electricity will surround you which will stun and kill zombies much like electric cherry. The game introduces the salvage and high grade salvage which can be gained by killing zombies and you can get tactical and lethal weapons can be gained by killing the zombies or using the salvage at a crafting bench to make. You can also use the crafting bench to craft things like the war machine or a flamethrower or even a self revive kit. The game also gives us the armor system which can be gained when going to an armor station and using your salvage to get to armor up to three tiers or you can get a tier 1 armor just by killing zombies but is a rare chance of happening. The armor softens the amount of damage zombies would normally do however it is capable of breaking so you'll have to use your salvage to repair it back at the armor station. The new pack a punch machine returns which allows you to pack your weapon 3 times with you being able to choose an ammo mod which cost 2000 points. The first pack tier cost 5000 points the second cost 15000 points and the third cost 30000 points each pack tier having its own pack camo by the way. The wonder weapon for this map is called the die machine or just called the die shockwave which can be upgraded into four elemental tiers. The die nova 5 which makes a cloud of nova 6 that slows and damages the zombies, the die cryo emitter which fires a beam of frost which damages the zombies, the thermophasic which fires a blast of fire and the die electro bolt which fires a beam of electricity. They all can be packed as well. The ray gun makes its return and is almost as good if not better than it was back in world at war. The map gives us new enemies as well such as zombies in armor, plague hounds which when killed will cause a cloud of nova 6 that will damage you, and the megaton which is tall zombie that will spit and throw radiation at you and when killed it will split into two smaller zombies with the same abilities but are easier to kill. There is also ammo boxes around the map which you can use to refill your ammo for some points and the wunderfizz makes its return which you can now choose which perks you want. The Easter egg has no big boss fight or end scene which is unfortunate but it's ends with rapture one coming down and saving our asses as Nacht is set to explode and we are carried back to requiems head quarters. The next map we'll talk about takes us to Vietnam.
