Ava's POV:

It's official, I got the job!

Today's my first day of my first ever job! I woke up extra early in the morning ,so I would be able to give my best.

I got dressed, grabbed my purse and drove to the bakery. Once, I finally reached there, everyone welcomed me and gave me an idea of what I am supposed to do, all the other employees were so welcoming and had so cool vibes! I was super glad, that I made some buddies on the first day.

Every day, I have alternate jobs to do, like: one day, I attend the customers, the next day, I make the pastries and so on. Today, I have to attend and serve the customers. Now, I know it'll be extremely boring, if I were to talk about all my customers in detail, so I won't. But I'll talk about my first ever customer. She was this sweet lady, who wanted to order some banana bread and an expresso. And guess what, she gave me a tip of 2 dollars! All my other customers were either regulars or new customers, and all of them were really nice!

The next few days at my work were fine as well, until, this day, when I was working an afternoon shift at the bakery drive-through (my least favorite). After attending a couple customers, this one dude in a black Lincoln SUV, drove inn, and asked for a croissant, his voice was extremely charming and it seemed somewhat familiar, I felt this mental connection, either way, I gave him the croissant, and he said "have a good evening!". I wanted to see who he was but I wasn't able to take a good look, because my co-worker Laila (my work bff) called me. What a shame, anyways, I carried on with my next customers.

Few days later, the black Lincoln SUV came in once again, and asked for a croissant once again. He kept on visiting the drive-through, and this one time, when I had got the shift (the other times he visited wasn't when Ava was working at the drive-through), I decided to ask his name, and maybe even get to look at his face.

''Hello, I would like a chocolate croissant.'' he said.

I immediately recognized it was him, through the voice.

"Anything else?" I say, "No, Thank you" he replies.

"Ok" I say.

He reaches the pick-up counter, and takes his food.

"May I know your name? you seem to be a regular" I say.

"It's Ethan, I've just moved to this town, and I like this bakery so I visit pretty often." he says.

I wasn't expecting such big of a reply, but I appreciated it and I replied with my name, not because I thought he cared.

''Cool, I'm Ava, nice to meet you!" I say

"Nice to meet you as well" he replies. After that, he drives away waving goodbye. I get to take a quick peek at his face, as non-creepy as possible.

He's got ocean blue eyes and rose-y red cheeks, adrenaline rushes through my body as he drives away.

Once I reach home, I make myself dinner and talk to my parents about my day (excluding Ethan). Then I head upstairs to my room, and I grab my diary, and lie down on my bed and I continue writing in my diary.

The next few days, I actually decided that I wanted to take a few days off from work, so I can hangout with my bffs.

When I returned to work, I had to take the trash out (beside the drive-through), so I when I went to take it, I noticed a piece of paper in the ground, it said...

Once I get home, I take my phone and enter what the piece of paper in the ground said to the app.
