"one croissant please!" is a story about a teenager named ava who has a partime job at a bakery , she's new to the job and is just starting to learn the basics of the job. everything kicks in when ethan visits the bakery and orders a croissant.
Mia's been my best friend since the 2nd grade, she's my closest friend out of all the other three, don't let them know though, we share our sorrows and sunshine's all the time and by her tone this time I know she's here for some sunshine. Best friend things.
"hey miss Mia"
"so I've got news, Charles asked me to go to the waterpark with his friends!"
"that's good for you Mai, you outta be the happiest after your long term crush basically asked you out" I rant.
"Nope, I'm 98.4 percent sure that he did NOT ask me out, he ASKED me to bring my friends along. Besides, he has his friends with him, you should come Aves, pwetty pwease" she squeals.
"Listen, I have work to do, aside from that, you should be able to have some ~time~ with him"
"NO. NO. you are not doing me dirty Ava Mae Matthew, you have to come, and I am not asking you but I am demanding you." she replies.
"OMG Fine, but I'll have to talk with my boss, and I might not come out in one piece, anyways, is Jae and Lola coming?"
"ofc they'll come it's just I haven't asked them yet, cause I gotta ask you first bae." Mai concludes.
"mkay, I'm really excited for your crush's waterpark day, can't wait! anyways chat with you later cause I have some Netflix to catch up on"
"same Aves, I'm literally in bed right now watching Netflix, such a vibe" she continues the convo.
"such a vibe"
I bite my lip and consider telling Mai about the incident today, but she breaks my thoughts saying
"SHOOT. Aves, I forgot to tell you the date and time bruh. This Sunday at 10 am, mark your calendars!"
"lol, can't blame ya, my dumbass didn't even know that existed, kay' calendars marked. mhm." I exclaim.
"Mai, listen, something very big happened today, and as much I'd love to open up, I really don't feel it at the moment, can the group catch up tomorrow at a café or something, just not the café I work in, cause you know why-"
"Aves, I feel the sunshine in ya, I really do.. I can't wait to catch up tomorrow, 9:30 am @ Starbucks, that good?" she interrupts.
"you literally read my fucking mind, no one understands me better Mai, I fucking love you so much"
"I love you too, I hope we get married some day-" she jokes.
"BWHAHA. ok catch up later bye, my mom's calling me to take the laundry, duty calls!" she hangs up giving a goodbye kiss.
I love my friends so much!
My mom ended up getting some KFC for dinner since it's a Friday, and she or dad really doesn't want to cook, and relatable, I guess?
