"Good morning, Effie!" Mr. Patrick the Panda waved from the window of his bakery shop.
"Good morning, Mr. Patrick!" Effie, the cheerful, purple elephant waved back.
"Daddy, should I give Mr. Patrick some apples?"
"A splendid idea!" Daddy Earl gathered the red, shiny apples in a woven basket. "Aren't you forgetting something, Effie?"

"No."
