Ren's POV...

"I want a baby now!" Hina demanded as soon as I walked into the house.

"Wow... I don't get a good evening, my love, or a simple how was your day baby." I asked in a calm voice.

"Hello sweetie, how was work at the office today?" She asked in a mocking tone, then yelled, "Give me a baby now!"

"Sweetheart, I'm certain that you'll become a mom in due time, just give it time."

"I'm tired of waiting. You promised me that you would find a way to help me to become a mom." she continued to shout in an angry, accusing voice.

"Can we talk about this after I take a shower, Hina?" I was bone tired from dealing with several hard-to-please clients today. Was it too much for me to expect to come home and have a few minutes of quiet time to myself?

"No, I want to talk about this now!" she grabbed me by the right arm and jerked me around to face her just as I began to head towards the stairs.

"Alright, let's talk about it now." I let out a deep sigh while loosening the necktie around my neck. I threw it on the arm of the off-white sofa after I walked into the living room.

"You promised me you would do whatever needed to be done to help me to become a mom." She repeated in a harsher voice.

"It's only been a day since I told you that, Hina. Having a baby doesn't work that fast, honey."

"I don't think that you're working hard enough to fix this problem."

"Finding the right surrogate takes time. Finding the best person to help us achieve our goal isn't something that can be done in a day, maybe not in a few months." I replied, leaning forward on the sofa with my elbows propped on my knees.

"It can be done that fast if you want it to."

"No, it can't, Hina. Don't you want to find a healthy, emotionally stable, and loving surrogate mom to carry our child inside her?"

"I don't care who she is, all I care about is her being willing to give me what I want, Ren."

"Just give me a little time to find the perfect woman to help us achieve our dream baby." I plead while staring into her angry eyes.

"How much longer are we talking about Ren, a week, a month, a year, or maybe two years?"

"I don't know the answer to that question, baby."

"You know what, I think you're stalling because you don't want to have a kid with me." she tearfully uttered.

"Hina, how could you say something like that to me when you know that it isn't true?"

"Because I don't see you doing everything that you can to give me what I want."

"If you really feel that way, then help me find the right surrogate for us, baby."
