Chapter 10: Beach getaway

Hange's POV:

"Ughh it's soo damn hot!" I say in annoyance

"Well maybe if you'd stop running back and forth then you wouldn't feel hot." Levi says

"Staying in place is boring."

"Tch, you're no better than a child" He said and I laughed.

The electricity went out. In the middle of the afternoon. It's already hot due to the summer weather then the electricity decides to go out. I was going to say we should go to his apartment and open the generator but then an idea came to my mind.

"I have an idea for us to cool off and have fun~" I say

He sighs "what is it?"

"Let's go to the beach!"

"If we go to the beach we'll be under the direct sunlight. Wouldn't that be even hotter than just staying here?"

"The water is surprisingly cold at the beach and palm trees cover the water near the shore, plus not a lot of people go there because it's a hidden spot, kinda like a secret vacation getaway"

He sighs in defeat "fine. Let's go."

I had to include the not a lot of people go there part, or else he'd never agree. I mentally gave myself a pat on the back.

A few minutes have passed and I was ready to go. I had a bag with my swimsuit, towel, sunglasses and extra clothes.

"Alright let's drive to my house first and I'll pick up my stuff and we'll head to this hidden beach" He says

"Are you okay with leaving the car in this empty parking lot?" I asked

"Hmm sure. There are security guards here" he said as we exited the car. "Alright where's the way to the beach?"

"Ohh.. Well that's the tricky part. I don't know. But I do remember the trail a little bit" I said

"The fuck? So in short you're going to get us lost?" He sighed

I laughed "My family used to go here when I was younger. The trail is very slippery and complicated. But I don't think anyone has gotten lost trying to get there." I grabbed his hand and pulled him to the entrance of the trail "come on! It's time for some adventure!~"

We went through the rocky trail and soon enough we were half way there. Moss covered the rocks and trees, making them look like they were straight out of a fairytale book.

"GAH!" I screamed as I almost slipped on one of the mossy rocks. Good thing Levi has good reflexes, and he was able to prevent me from falling.

"Be more careful shitty glasses."

A few more steps and we reached the beach. There were only about 10 people at the beach. And some were already on their way to leaving the beautiful beach.

The ocean was calm and the trees swayed with the breeze of the wind. The ocean was clear, you could see the corals that were the nearest to the shore. It was a very relaxing location. I was mesmerized by the view.

3rd Person's POV:

A few minutes has passes since they got to the beach. They had already set up an umbrella to cover them from the hot rays of the sun and a beach blanket for them to lay on. Before laying down, they changed into thier swimwear in the bathroom that was a few feet away from the entrance of the beach.

They laid down next to each other, with their hands intertwined as they  stared into the bright blue sky. Levi  never admitted it, but he was mesmerized by Hange's  beauty. Her sun kissed skin, the way her eyes glistened under the sun, her chocolate brown hair that flowed beautifully with the wind, and how her swimsuit emphasized all of her curves perfectly. To him, she was perfect.

Hange turned to look at Levi and stared into his eyes. This lated for a few moments before Hange finally opened her mouth.

"Let's go for quick swim." She says with a smile. Levi nods in agreement and they both got up as Hange pulled Levi to the ocean.

Hange did not waste any time and she ran into the water and swam a little farther from the shore. Before Levi got in, he checked if the water temperature and when he confirmed that the water was warm, he went into the water and swam to where Hange was.

"Careful shorty, you might drown. This part is deeper than a kiddie pool" Hange laughed and Levi looked at her with a serious expression and scoffed.

They played in the water and swam. Before they even knew it, the sun was already setting. It was a beautiful view. How the suns rays was slowly disappearing and the moon slowly rose up. They got out of the water. Hange looked at Levi and only looked away and blushed. Levi's hair was wet and dripping beads of water that trailed to his chest and down to his nicely sculpted abs.

They went into the bathroom to wash up and get dressed. They packed up their little set up and made their way to the trail.

They got into the car. Since it was already late, Levi insisted that Hange should just stay in his apartment for the night. Hange agreed and they drove to Levi's apartment. Thankfully the electricity was back on. They had dinner and called it a day.
