Levi's POV:

"This ball would be held tomorrow night, to celebrate the new building that was constructed, expanding our company. The ball would consist of board members, employees, some family and friends and the stockholders. Each person who is invited is allowed to bring a plus one." I say.

The others in the meeting nodded.

"And where will this event be held? Considering the amount of guests that will be there." On of the female board members asked.

"At Leiden venues, it will be held in the biggest ballroom they have. Any more questions?" I say.

"No more, sir." One of them say.

"Then I dismiss this meeting." I say as I stood up.

After everyone left, Petra walked toward me. "Should I send out the invitations?" She asks.

"I would like to review the people who are invited. I don't want accidentally inviting someone I'm not willing to see." I say. She nods as she left the room to get the invitations.

I sat back down on my seat. An idea then popped into my head. I mentally smiled at the idea.

After around 25 minutes of reviewing the invitations, I finally finished. "You may send the invitations. It could be either via email or mail." I say to Petra.

"Okay sir. Is there anything else you need?" She asks.

"Do I have any more meetings today?" I ask.

She checks her tablet. "No."

"Alright, if anyone in the office needs me, tell them I'm busy. And also tell them not to bother me."

"Noted." She says as she gathers all the papers and then leaves the room.

I stood up from my chair and fixed my suit.

Hange's POV:

I was walking out of my office. I've had a long day. Thankfully my shift is already finished. I walked down the hallways that were filled with people walking.

People's chatter filled the crowded yet busy rooms. This was just one of the everyday things I experience in this building.

I soon found Samantha and Sheena. "Hey girls!" I waved to them.

"Hey Hange!" Sheena says.

"Hi Hange" Sam says.

The three of us started to talk. Nathan and Micheal were usually busy since their shift starts at around night and ends in the middle of the morning. Hence, they were mostly too tired to hang out with us.

The three of us then started to walk home. "It turns out, his own sister was backstabbing him!" Sheena exclaimed. She was talking about this show that she's really into.

We continued talking until we reached our respective doors. We waved each other goodbye and I walked into my apartment.

Not long after, the doorbell rang. Who could that be?

I opened it, only to see a short male. "Levi, what brings you here?" I ask.

"I wanted to ask you something." He says.
