Chapter 1: Cherry blossom tree

Levi's POV:

I walked out of my apartment. I am at Japan for a business trip. I'll only be here for the whole summer.

Tch, hell I didn't even want to be here. I just hate having to visit other countries and meet up with people I hardly even know. Well, this is just one of the things a CEO like me has to go through.

Maybe I hate being in other countries because that's how I found out my now ex girlfriend was cheating on me.

I showered her with gifts and expensive things but that damn woman still cheated on me. Not with only one guy, but with several others. I broke up with her as soon as I found out.

Even though I'm pretty wealthy and those expensive gifts I gave her were nothing to me, I still demanded her to give them back.

I remembered I wanted to propose her... But I'm glad I didn't, because if I did, I would've been married to a dishonest woman.

I walked down a few blocks and alleys. I made a few turns... I was supposed to be at my destination by now..

Shit. I hate to admit it but I'm lost. Great that's just amazing.

I was under a fully bloomed cherry blossom tree. The petals fell to the ground so gracefully.

Tch, but that doesn't change the fact that I'm still fucking lost.

I checked my phone to try to use gps, oh great. There's no cell service. I sigh.

I had to... Ask for help....

There was no one in that park, I mean it was only 5 am in the morning, who in their right mind would want to get up so early. The sun was barely even up.

I saw a woman in front of one of the cherry blossom trees.

"Miss" I said with a cold stern voice making my way up to the lady.

"Yes?" She asked turning around to face me. She sounded a little startled.

She had chocolate brown hair and caramel eyes that were covered by glasses.

"Where is the Sina hearts cafe?" I asked

"If you don't mind sir, I could just walk with you to the cafe, since I'm also heading that way"

"Okay, sure"

We walked down several blocks and reached the cafe.

It wasn't open yet.

She pulled out a key and inserted it into the door.

"You own this cafe?" I asked

"Well not technically me but my parents own it, I'm just managing it for the time being"

"I see"

"Well, I didn't expect anyone to come here at 5 am so I haven't prepared anything" she laughed nervously "but, this is a cafe, what would you like to order, sir?"

"I want plain black tea, no sugar and a piece of toasted garlic bread"

"Alright I'll start working on it!"

She went into the kitchen area and I heard some sounds of pots and pans. I then heard the kettle and knew that was for the tea.

After a bit she came out and gave me my food.

"Thank you, miss"

"You're welcome, but you can just call me Hange" she smiled

I payed for the food and started eating it.

I finished my food and left the cafe.

The food was... Delicious... I might come back here again.

This is unrelated to the story but I would like to talk about this certain topic.

Scientists were arrested after protesting about climate change

"We've been trying to warn you guys for so many decades," Kalmus says, his voice shaking. "The scientists of the world have been being ignored. And it's gotta stop. We're going to lose everything."

We only have 3-5 years to fix this situation. I don't know all the details but what I do know ow is that we need to take action now.

Here's some simple ways to help:

•Delete unwanted emails
•Use tote bags instead of plastic bags
•Save electricity
•Save water
•Plant more trees
•Use Ecosia instead of Google, each search in Ecosia plants one tree
