FACING THE TRUTH

"Yes" she said in a voice filled with awe.
"Hello Sam, I am Aiden Lannister. It's a pleasure meeting you." Aiden said while extending his hand.
Sam took his hand and he bought it close to his own lips leaving a small peck on her soft palm, obviously trying to flirt with her.
'Why did he do that?' I thought to myself clenching my fist. Oh wait! Why was I getting angry.

Aiden was in the same branch of the army as me. His VAMPOWER (power that works on bifurs) is obviously that he can cast spells of different sorts using his wand. Whereas, his HOMOPOWER(power that works on homos) is that he can read strong thoughts of people.

Anyways.... before bringing Sam here, I told the army heads about her. When I told our leader, Ms. Ava Chiron, one of the strongest Centaur (who was also the part of the blinder formers group) about Sam being Matthew's daughter, I could see her eyes glitter with some hope. She told us how important Sam was to us...which is a different story

The main concern right now is telling Sam about her father, the only thing that made her come with me. She is going to be heartbroken and I'll hate to see her that way, but she seriously needs to know the truth about her parent's death.

"Come on, I'll show you around" I said grabbing her wrist.
We walked through the whole area together and Sam couldn't stop asking questions. She was astonished to see all this, as anyone else would be.

After giving her a tour, the three of us sat in the small cafe that was built there.
That's when the question I dreaded the most came up.
"What happened to my father?" She asked
"Well!!...." I really didn't wanted to tell her but I had to "you need to get a grip of yourself before I tell you...... Your parents, they didn't die in an accident."
Her expression changed immediately from amazed to serious.

"You knew it??" Aiden asked her with a shocked face. He was reading her mind.

"I...I am-...I always felt that it was something else" she stammered.

"They were killed" I blurted out unwillingly.

I could see anger burning up in her eyes. She seemed furious. I could see her fist clench.

"Calm down sam" I told her
"Who did it" she asked in an enraged tone.
"Your father was killed by one of the zealus's so-called leader, Jet Hale because he was a very strong vergain and your mother was with him that time so-"

I couldn't tell her more because I felt that it was all she could handle at that moment.
She was speechless and extremely angry, I could feel it.

"I-....I need to go" she said and started walking away.
I followed her and dropped her at her home. She didn't say anything the whole duration.

When we reached, I finally broke that unbearable silence by saying that "Sam, I am so sorry for you but I promise that it'll be alright. Dont worry and also I'll take you there tomorrow again, there's more that you need to know."
She nodded and walked away.

Next morning, she pushed herself across the wall.
When we reached, I took her to the meeting area of the army because we had to tell her the reason why Jet killed her parents and also how important she is to us but something unexpected happened.

When we entered, I saw a familiar face, a face we all hated... talking to Ms. Ava

"I heard she's here" he said in his malicious voice

"No, you've got the wrong information" said Ava sounding a little scared.

He knew about Sam but how !?
This can't be good.

"Who's this?" Sam asked standing beside me in her angry and sad tone. Ofcourse she wasn't over the previous day's conversation.

"Jet Hale-" I couldn't complete my words when she bursted out with anger.

"YOU KILLED MY PARENTS" she screamed at him in the most infuriating voice, not worrying about the consequences.
That's when, a stream of fire left  her hand. Her extreme anger unleashed her power. She was DETERMINED. Fire was her vampower. I was thinking all this when she suddenly fainted.

I grabbed her head before it could touch the ground and carried her to the hospital.
Dr. Davis took her inside the room and started examining her. I was tensed and scared.

Ava took care of the whole Jet situation yet, he found out about Sam which was great problem in itself

After five minutes, Dr.Davis came out.
"How is she?" I asked
"She has unleashed her powers but her human body is not strong enough to contain it. The only hope remaining is in turning her into a complete vampire by the bite and also, we have less time" he said in a rushed voice.

All I knew at that moment was that I need to save her even if it means that I'll have to bite her and make her one of us without her permission. It was the question of her life which is above anything.

"I will do it" I said
"Then hurry, we are not sure if it'll work or not but it's the only option we are left with."
I went inside the room and saw her pale body lying on the bed.

I bit her unwillingly on the neck. The taste of her sour blood filled my mouth and tears were running down my cheeks. 'Please be fine Sam,...we need you....I need you'

Sam didn't wake up the whole afternoon. Aiden and I were extremely worried. I couldn't stop pacing around her bed.

It was about 6:00 p.m. when I noticed some motion. She was waking. She didn't seem pale and weak anymore. That's when, her eyes opened and they weren't her normal brown eyes....they were red.
