"And that's when she knew she's finally home with him."

Strumming the last string on the harp, the bard gave a close eye smile to the applauding audience. the people of Inazuma started smiling and clapping as they just enjoyed the magnificent story and harmony.

Venti gigged and bowed, "thank you..thank you." taking off his hat and placing it against his chest.

Soon, the crowd disperse and everyone went to their own business. little children running around, playing with each other while adults chattered together.

Today seemed like a beautiful day. the sun was out, the clouds are white as snow, the sky is pure blue, and the people around are happy.

The Inazuma region was in their blooming season where the sakura blooms start to wake up and see the world of Teyvat. although the little pink petals fall down to the ground due to the high wind, it's still a dazzling sight.

Venti then placed his harp away and gazed his surrounding. he had just arrived to Inazuma from Mondstadt yesterday and it seemed like a few things changed. like how that one tree grew bigger or that old shop use to be for toys, but is now a tea house.

Now taking a peaceful walk outside of the city, Venti feels the wind blowing through his braids. smiling brightly, he continued on his walk and went to a empty field. the grassy field filled with most greens and little whites. the white flowers swayed as he took a gently step, making sure he's not stepping on the sweet little thing.

Finally to the destination, Venti lowered his ombré eyes down and his smile faded a little.

Placing down a bouquet of flowers, Venti kneeled down and clapped his hands together, "sorry for not visiting for the past few months, but i hope you're doing okay."

Fluttering his eyes open, the bard placed both hands on his lap and tilted his head, "it's been awhile, hasn't it?"

Silence

"I recently created a new song which was inspired by you two."

Silence

"Don't worry, the clan is doing really well or so i've heard."

Silence

"How long has it been since we have seen each other? perhaps it has been a little over 10 years since you two had moved on?"

It was silent once more as Venti gazed at the two gray stones. sighing gently, "i'm glad you two grew old together and living your life to the fullest," he continued on.

Slowly laying down on the grassy field and letting the white flowers graze his pale cheek, "want to hear the new tune, my lady and my lord?" he asked.

Taking out his harp, Venti let his fingers do the magic. humming the sweet tune, he closed his ombré eyes and make the wind breeze quietly through his lying figure.

"Do you hear that?"

Turning around slowly, you hear a familiar tune that would make your heart swell whenever you were feeling down. you could feel the soft wind breezing through your hair as you gazed at nothing, but just a white light.

"Seems to be someone is playing a tune for us."

Dragging Ayato by your intertwined hands, you walked closer to the bright light and halted your steps. standing next to you, Ayato gazed at the white light as well.

Smiling, you started to sing along the tune as Ayato listened. hearing your soft singing always put him in a serene state. whenever you're with him always put his whole world together, because without you, he feels empty.

You're his sun and he's your moon. you bring the best bright smile out of him while he protects you from the darkness.

Closing his lavender like eyes, Ayato could hear the wind whispering to him as he tightened his hold on your right hand.

Then once the last tune was made, the light slowly disappeared and you opened your eyes as well as Ayato. "such a beautiful song, isn't it my lady?" he asked while gazing at you lovingly.

Nodding, you could see another light forming from the corner of your eyes. turning around once more, you see all your family and friends waiting for you.

Feeling a gentle nudge, you gazed at Ayato who gave a loving smile, "let's go home," he softly said while leaning in to peck your forehead. blinking your eyes and smiling from the tickling affection, you wrapped your arms around his left arm.

"Yes, let's go home."

"May the wind help you find your freedom and home."

Venti sang once more while gazing up at the blue sky. it was silent for a moment until he yawned like a small kitten. standing up to stretch, he turned around back at the stones again and gave a genuine smile. not the one where he would play a funny prank or when he's drunk, but a loving broken smile where there's nostalgia behind it.

"Well, it's time for me to go, but it's great to see you again. oh! that's right, i nearly forgot, but i brought something."

Taking out two white cecilia flowers, Venti placed it down in front of the two resting stones.

Giggling softly, "there, now it's perfect."

Taking off his bard hat and placing it against his chest, Venti bowed down. the once soft breeze was now hugging his figure in a comforting manner as he close his eyes once more. the next few words he spoke was gentle, but at the same time heartbreaking.

"Farewell, my little lady."

a/n: i can't even imagine how Venti feels when all his friends move on to heaven while he stays in Teyvat, having to move on 🥹
