"Hey, Arlo was it?" John offers him a timid smile, seeing that he had connections to Seraphina and from her impression of him, he was a nice guy. So, maybe he'd try his luck and befriending another Wellston royal? The way John smiled at Arlo made his heart flutter crazily, his beautiful, pretty smooth skin, his energized, ever blinking eyes... His voice was so enticing, so utterly innocent—he has so much potential. He had everything Arlo wanted. Despite the fact that he was a low-tier, just his appearance and voice alone could win the blond over. "I'm John. I'm sure you've already heard me from Sera... But it is nice to meet you." He cheerfully said as he left his hand to hover in the air, waiting for the blond to shake it.

To touch John's hand... "I don't do handshakes." He needed to learn to control himself first, one touch between them, and Arlo would be struggling to contain himself. Now, he wouldn't want to scare John away when they've barely made any progress between them, now, would he? "Yes, I have heard you from Seraphina. She was quite fond of you actually. Now, since you're an acquaintance of her... And a low-tier for that matter..." He mumbled the last part, "If you need any help, just let me know and I'll do it to the best of my abilities."

"Huh? O-oh! You don't have to do that!" John chuckled, tucking his hands into his pockets. He then confidently exclaimed, "I've been surviving as a low-tier all my life, I can handle myself."

Arlo stares at this boy, who's grinning from ear to ear, brimming with pure innocence. His confidence towards god-tiers like him draws Arlo towards John, this isn't a way a low-tier should act. There's more to him than he's letting on. "Hm. If you say so. But, Seraphina wouldn't want to see you all bruised and hurt, now would she? Still, notify me if you need my assistance, I'd be glad to help."

"You really don't have to! If I came to you and asked you for help, I'd get picked on much more... Anyways, I have an assignment I need to complete and it's due soon so I'll see you around. See you!" Arlo nodded, even offering a small smile as John made his departure away from the blond. Arlo would be lying if he said he didn't feel bitter at the sight of John walking away from him. Every second during the conversation, Arlo felt like he was holding back something crucial about him, something that's slowly clawing its way out.

Now, Arlo isn't one to play with his food, but watching John leave unscathed filled him a type of irritation. He bites at his lips nervously, slowly thinking things over.

How was he going to get rid of Seraphina and keep John's focus on him?

The moment he first saw John on the rooftop that day, he knew instantly that he needed him by his side. John is someone Arlo didn't have, and never once had he fell so head-over-heels for the boy. He was someone he needed so bad. And every time Arlo passed John in the halls, that intense heart-throb only pulsed even more rapidly in his chest. Arlo is a highly observant person, and he'll notice all the little things about John that no one would ever realize.

His hair is less gelled today, normally, it'd be much glossier, yet it appeared to be more matted today. He wonders why? Had John been in a rush to leave his apartment? Another clue is his tie, it's hung loosely around his neck, and he knows that the boy is a very neat and tidy person from the way he fastens it all the time.

Despite being highly observant, John was also a very secretive person. It's been a week since they first met, and Arlo still knows nothing about the boy.

John never let anything slip, but then again, the amount of times that the two interacted doesn't even add up to the amount of fingers on your hand. The duration is never long either. They'd share little details to their day, and with the amount of details that John has currently shared is irritating Arlo because it's so minimal and vague. But it was a benefit for him, in a way.
