First for everything..|| (Hunter)

*Hunter's POV*

I was walking through the halls of hexside it was actually a pretty nice day, I stopped to put things in my locker, such as glyphs and some magic books for studying. Suddenly from a distance I could hear something that sounded like a tramped?...I didn't think much of it and just continued to put my stuff in my locker.

Once I turned around I swear Edric, Emira, Luz, and Amity popped out of nowhere. "Uh...do you guys need anything?" I asked raising my eyebrows, "How could you.." Edric cried as Emira patted his back while I looked absolutely puzzled.

"I'm your sister!"
"I'm your best friend!"
"I'm also his best friend!"
"and I'm...Actually I'm not sure what I am."

Still being REALLY confused they all yelled the same exact thing.

"It's your birthday?!"

Oh. I actually kind of forgot about that since nobody really cared for it in the emperors coven. "Lilith told me that it was your birthday today!" Luz yelled as I watched her eyes got bigger, "I didn't even get you a present!" Edric continued to cry moving onto my shoulder. "Its okay guys you seriously didn't even have to do anything. It's not really that special I'm cool with a totally normal day." I brushed off while I patted Edric's back, everyone looked really pretty disappointed but I was okay with having another birthday uncelebrated. Right?

The day went by really quickly since classes wasn't all that bad as students made it seem, once the last bell rang I wasn't in no hurry to go home until Edric walked by and locked arms with me. "What is it now Ed." I asked with the most blanked face as I watched Edric have the most cheesiest smile, "I wanted to take you out somewhere!" he replied with the goofiest grin, "...for about 3-4 hours..." he then mumbled to himself.

I wasn't really buying it cause Edric was like one of the most TERRIBLE liar but I wouldn't mind being "taken out" somewhere with him. Just thinking about it made my face all warm and fuzzy, it took us a while to get there and at the fact while Ed had my eyes covered I kept bumping into things.

"Okay we're finally here!" he sighed in relief while he took his hands away from eyes and once I saw where we were I was quite disappointed. "The boiling isles library?..." I said with a crooked smile, not gonna lie was expecting more of a "romantic" setting but now that I'm thinking about it he might not see me as I see him. "Not just any library" Ed grinned picking out a random book from the shelves once he opened it, dozen of snow balls came out making me fall to the ground.

"What was that?! And tell me how to do that now." I said while my eyes got big with excitement, "it's simple, open a book and whatever it's about will come to life." he replied and for a split second it went silent before we both had a big grin on our face.

Before we knew it we were running around the library and had tons of fun fighting each other with the books, it was like tag but but more fun. Time went by so quickly and this was probably the most fun I've ever had especially on my birthday.

For the fun of it we opened one last book it was a formal book about how to dress or something like that. Weirdly once we did I got a gold suit while as Edric got stuck with a pink princess dress, "I know I'm wearing a poofy dress but why am I kinda working this?" Edric spinned around while I started to die laughing. After a few minutes of us in the suit/dress our clothes suddenly poofed away, "It's over already?" I said being pretty sad that it was over, "well I still have one more thing to show you before your birthday is over." he replied with excitement before taking my hand.

We left the library and when we did I was pretty shocked that it was already dark outside, "I have one more thing to show so no peeking!" he said while we over to cover my eyes, he guided me to some place that took a while getting to but I mean we didn't bump into anything. "Okay you can open your eyes now!" he said with excitement before taking his hands away from eyes.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY HUNTER!"

I stood there in shock while I watched everyone alongside the beach wearing tiny little birthday hats, with a whole birthday party set up. "Happy birthday, Goldie." Shifting my head, Edric handed me a bag, "C'mon look inside!" he smiled nudging my shoulder. I opened the gift to see that it was a huge scrapbook and started to look through the pages, as I did I started to tear up.

It was most of our memorable moments from the past and I couldn't help but smile though it was cheesy, I still loved it. "Happy birthday Hunter!" Emira jumped onto me while viney tagged along behind her, Luz sneaked in behind them and jumped onto me "you're growing so fast! I'm so proud!" Luz cried as snot came out of her nose while I couldn't help but laugh.

"Happy birthday, kid." Eda said holding a huge cake in her hands, "Make a wish!" Luz yelled as I smiled uncontrollably. Behind Eda was Edric and once our eyes met I finally made my wish, then soon after everyone came in for a big hug and I never felt more loved.

Before I used to really hate my birthday since the emperors coven never really saw me as their own, and I'm glad that they didn't cause I found my true family right here.

"Guys we should do a group photo!"

we all huddled up trying to get into the frame and I didn't hear Amity do the countdown for the photo, and when they took it I was the first to look at it and my eyes widened. I mean everyone looked good but I'm right in the center making googly eyes at edric while luz evilly grins at me. Trust me, this was too embarrassing for anyone to see. "Hey lemme see how the picture turned out!" Edric said trying to snatch the picture from me "nope! It's my birthday and I choose to keep it." I refused hiding the picture behind my back. He looked at me with an angry expression on his face before literally chasing me all around the beach just to see if he blinked in the photo or not.

He continued to chase me until we both fell onto each-other but when we did Edric's lips landed onto mine, and I didn't know how to react. My cheeks felt like they were going to burst, and my face went red, he immediately got up and i noticed that I wasn't the only one with red cheeks. "Look..I'm so sorry I didn't mean—" Edric  immediately apologized, "No-no I liked it! I just didn't except it." I interrupted he took his eyes away from the sand and our eyes met again. Ooo how I wished that accident can just happen all over again, before he could say anything Viney came.

"Where have you guys been, Emira and amity are fighting for who's getting the first piece and it doesn't look to good." Viney babbled as we just looked at her in silence.

"are you guys ok-"

"Yup let's go!"

Edric picked me up from the sand and we both walked back into the party without saying a single word to eachother. Edric ran over to his siblings to try and stop them from tearing eachother apart and I couldn't help but smile. I really like how my life's going so far first friend, first birthday, first kiss, maybe first relationship???

Joking or not, this will still forever be my most memorable birthday hell probably even my most best birthday I've ever had.
