"Oh my God, stop! My clothes are gonna be all white and dirty if you keep doing that!"
"Ow, ow don't do that, it hurts!"
"I'm gonna kill you, Lee Felix!"
The muffled screams and giggles from downstairs made Rachel stir in her bed, waking her up from what she hoped would have been a peaceful nap.
"What the fuck?" She murmured, opening her tired eyes and sitting up.
"Was that Claire's voice?"
She stretched and left the bed to go check what was going on.
"I'm gonna pin you against the fucking wall and shove this in your mouth if you don't stop!" She heard Claire say as she walked down the stairs.
Excuse me?!
"What the fuck are you guys doing?" Rachel finally asked in a whiny voice once she got to them.
Trying to keep her eyes open, she took mental notes of her friends' states, as well as the kitchen's.
They seemed to be playfighting, their hands full of something sticky they were ready to attack each other with. Cookie dough, maybe?
Flour had spilled all over the countertop and the floor. Felix's face smeared with cocoa powder and Claire's with more flour.
Oh..
She finally noticed how nice the house smelled, the aroma of freshly baked cookies filling her nose and weirdly calming her down.
She sighed, taking a seat at the kitchen table while the two stared at her like two kids who had just been caught doing something they weren't allowed to, just waiting to be scolded.
"Remind me not to let you bake or cook anything ever again." She said, giving them a lighthearted laugh.
"We'll clean up after ourselves, don't worry." Claire laughed, walking over to her to give her a kiss on the cheek.
"Did you sleep well, baby?" She asked.
"She just got flour all over my face, didn't she?" Rachel deadpanned and Felix tried really hard to contain his laugh, an utter failure of an attempt though.
"Let's wash up and make you a cup of coffee, yeah?" Claire chuckled and smacked her friend's ass once she had stood up.
"I hate you."
"Love you, too!"
.
.
"Okay, I take it back. Maybe I will let you bake here again." Rachel said, taking another bite out of her warm chocolate chip cookie with a huge smile on her face.
She had fully woken up by that point and Felix and Claire immediately stuffed her face with the baked goods they made so she couldn't scold them.
"As if I'd ask for your permission." Felix whispered under his breath.
"What did you say?"
"Nothing!" He said and shoved the rest of his cookie in his mouth before taking off with his glass of milk in hand, making the girls laugh.
"How come you decided to destroy my kitchen today by the way?" Rachel asked, taking a sip of her coffee.
"We were supposed to have a lesson but neither of us could focus. We went to grab some stuff for the sleepover tonight and then boom. Something that sounded like a great idea in theory came up." Claire explained, petting Lucy's head that she had been holding in her arms for quite some time.
