"Are you sure you have everything you need?" Asked Rachel, and the expression on her face was something Felix couldn't quite read.

"Yeah Ray, for the fourth time today, I've got everything." Her brother sighed.

"Why the sudden concern about-"

"Oh God, look at the time! You have to go. If you miss the bus, I ain't taking you anywhere!" Rachel exclaimed and almost ran to her room, but not before she peeked her head around the corner, only to say a quick 'bye, love you!' to her little brother.

"Ah, I will never understand this girl." Felix chuckled before finally exiting his house.

.

.

'Late again.' Felix thought and shifted on his chair, clearly annoyed by the fact that his classroom was total chaos.

'Why does the teacher always have to be late?!'

Though before he could leave another one of his tired sighs, someone knocked on the door.

'Amen I guess?'

The classroom fell into silence as everyone sat back at their desks.

"Excuse me.." A girl's shy voice echoed behind the door that was now half open.

'Ray? Wtf?'

"Hi, uh- Is Lee Felix in this classroom?" She asked in her sweetest tone.

Her brother's classmates were quick to respond to her question, immediately pointing at the quite confused boy sitting at the back of the classroom.

"Did something happen Ray?" Felix asked as he stood up, shooting little glares at each one of his classmates that were clearly checking his sister out while she wasn't looking.

Rachel didn't seem to notice though, as she was nervously fiddling with the item she held in her hands, that Felix had failed to notice until now.

"You uh- You forgot your pencil case at home." She smiled as she left the item on his desk, Felix's expression getting filled with more confusion and now a bit of concern.

"That's why you came all the way here? To give me my pencil case?"

"Yeah! I thought you might need it. God, Lix, I literally asked you if you had everything a million times and you still forgot something." She laughed, seeming less nervous than before, which gave Felix a feeling of relief.

Still, something felt off about Rachel's behavior, but he decided not to comment on it any further.

"You didn't have to get in so much trouble, I could have just borrowed a pencil from my classmates."

"Oh.. Didn't think of that oops." She giggled.

"Anyway, gotta go now. See ya!" She said and she left hurriedly, looking as nervous as she did when she entered the class.

'Something's definitely wrong.' Felix thought, a frown on his face.

'Guess I'll have to wait until she feels comfortable enough to tell me.'

"LET'S GO CLASS, GO BACK TO YOUR SEATS, THESE BOOKS WON'T READ THEMSELVES" The teacher yelled as he basically ran into the classroom having been late for at least 15 minutes.

Sigh

.

.

.

"Thank GOD this class is over." Felix took a deep breath and stretched his arms after standing up.
For some reason it felt as if he was sitting on that damn chair for weeks.
